Objective:To investigate the various risk factors of postoperative pulmonary infection in esophageal cancer, and to provide some clinical ideas and solutions for perioperative diagnosis and treatment of esophageal cancer patients.Methods:192 patients with esophageal cancer and esophageal cancer radical surgery diagnosed at the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from July 2013 to Decemeber 2017 were collected.Collecting clinical data from patients, such as age, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypertension, diabetes, smoking history, surgical procedure, operation time, tumor T stage, and tumor type;according to whether pulmonary infection occurred,it was divided into lung infection group and non-pulmonary infection group.Descriptive statistical analysis method was used to describe the basic data of patients;two-variable analysis of counting data was performed by chi-square test, and two-variable analysis of measurement data was performed by t-test.The basic data of the two groups were compared, and then the logistic regression analysis was used to screen the esophagus.Independent risk factors for postoperative pulmonary infection in cancer. Results:By statistical analysis, the age of the lung infection group and the non-pulmonary infection group, with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes mellitus, smoking history, postoperative catheterization time and postoperative anastomotic leakage were statistically significant(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in operation time, surgical procedure, hypertension, tumor T stage, and tumor type(p>0.05).The inclusion of the above risk factors in logistic regression analysis showed that age, smoking history, preoperative chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and diabetes were independent risk factors for postoperative pulmonary infection in esophageal cancer. Conclusion:The occurrence of postoperative pulmonary infection in esophageal cancer is related to various factors. For patients with esophageal cancer surgery,it is necessary to strengthen perioperative management and adopt a targeted and reasonable diagnosis and treatment plan.
