Objective:To study the security and the impact on life of Preoperative oral carbohydrate in patients operated LC in the day.Methods:117 patients operated LC in the PLA General Hospital from October 2016 to Marth 2017 were diviede into three groups randomly with 39 cases in each group.Group A receiving the oral carbohydrate preoperatively,Group B transfused GS with the same energy as GroupA,Group C receiving regular overnight fasting. The preoperative thristy situation and the indicators of inflammation, heart rate, blood glucose, serum insulin, insulin resistance index postoperatively were collected and compared among the three groups. Results No patients had a false aspiration after anesthesia.Anesthesia aspiration and complications above Clavien I level didn't occurred.Insulin resistance index, fasting serum insulin and between group A and group B were statistically significant(Z=-5.60,-4.78,P<0.05).Insulin resistance index, fasting serum insulin and procalcitonin between group A and group C were statistically significant(Z=-2.65,-2.49,-4.02,P<0.05).Procalcitonin between group B and group C were statistically significant(Z=-2.183,P<0.05).The preoperative thristy situation between group A and group B,groupC were statistically significant(x2=6.47,P<0.05).Conclusions Preoperative oral carbohydrate is secure and feasible with the benefits of improving the quality of life of patients operated LC in the day.
