Objective:To study the postoperative quality of life of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer and clarify how the complications,thyroid-stimulating hormone inhibition therapy,radioactive iodine 131 treatment and other factors after total thyroidectomy affect the quality of life of patients,which are intended to provide reference for improving the quality of life in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer.Method:The relevant literature was searched and analyzed by PubMed,GeenMedical,Web of Science and other engines or retrieval databases.The research status,methods and trends of postoperative quality of life in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer at home and abroad in recent years were analyzed to found the most significant factors affecting the quality of life of these patients.Results:1.The survival rate and prognosis of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer after operation are high,but their quality of life is pretty poor.2.The daily life and professional state of the patient were seriously impacted by the differentiated thyroid cancer's long-term postoperative complications such as recurrent laryngeal or nervi laryngeus superior injury,hypoparathyroidism,iatrogenic hyperthyreosis and recurrence,Which lead to a decline in the patients' psychological level,physical level,social function,emotion,vitality,cognition and overall happiness in quality of life,beside,the more complications,the worse the quality of life.3.Long-term and short-term complications caused by radioactive iodine 131 treatment in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer after operation such as radiation exposure,reproductive system damage and isolation increase the economic and psychological burden of patients,Causing more sleep,fatigue problems.The physical function,role function and the overall health status of patients suffering a persistent decline,and cause a negative effect on quality of life of patients.4.The quality of life after operation for differentiated thyroid cancer is affected by many factors,including young,female,highly educated,high socioeconomic status,low family social support and low medical attention.
