Observation Of The Jiannao Ningshen Granules In Treatment Of Alzheimer’s Disease (Heart-kidney Disharmony Type)

Objecti veThrough the summary and analysis of the clinical cases of Jiannao Ningshen Granules in the treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease(heart-kidney disharmony type),and the observation of the granules’ clinical efficacy and adverse reactions,to evaluate their clinical efficacy and safety on AD.MethodsSixty six patients,who met the inclusion criteria of AD(heart-kidney disharmony type),were randomized into an experimental group and a control group.The experimental group was treated with Jiannao Ningshen Granules,and the control group was given oral treatment with Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets.The two groups were treated continuously for 3 months.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was observed after the end of the treatment.Each group was evaluated by the specialists in the department for the clinical efficacy of the patients according to the TCM syndrome score before and after treatment.The cognitive function was evaluated using the Simple Intelligence Status Examination Scale(MMSE)and the Montreal Cognitive Test(MoCA).The Living Capacity Scale(ADL)evaluates behavioral functions and uses the Zarit Caregiver Burden Scale(ZBI)to assess caregiver stress.Patients in the two groups were monitorcd for blood routine,bowel routine,liver and kidney function before and after treatment.To evaluate the clinical effeacy and safety of Jiannao Ningshen Granule in the treatment of AD(heart-kidney disharmony type).Results1.The TCM syndromes of the two groups were improved after treatment.The TCM syndromes scores of the two groups were compared before and aft er treatment,and there were significant differences(P<0.01).There was a significant difference in TCM syndrome score between the two groups after treatment(P<0.01).After treatment,the total effective rate was 88.78%in the experimental group and 62.50%in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.01).The experimental group was better than the control group.2.Cognitive function of the two groups improved significantly after treatment.There were significant differences in MMSE and MoCA scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in MMSE and MoCA scores between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).3.After treatment,the behavioral ability of the two groups were significantly improved.The ADL scores of the two groups were compared before and after treatment,and there were significant differences(P<0.01).There was no significant difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).The curative effect of the two groups was similar.4.After treatment,the nursing pressure of caregivers in both groups decreased.The ZBI scores of the two groups were significantly different before and after treatment(P<0.01).The ZBI scores of the two groups were significantly different after treatment(P<0.01).The experimental group was better than the control group.5.Five were no abnormal changes in the safety indexes of the two groups before and after treatment.No adverse reactions occurred in the experimental group during the treatment period.Three patients in the control group had transient adverse reactions of anorexia,nausea and vomiting,and dizziness.It indicates that the experimental group has higher safety.ConelusionJiannao Ningshen Granules are equivalent to Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets in improving the cognitive and behavioral abilities of patients with Alzheimer’ s disease(heart-kidney disharmony type).Jianna Ningshen Granules are superior to Donepezil Hydrochloride Tablets in improving TCM syndromes and reducing care pressure for caregivers.Jiannao Ningshen Granules have no adverse reactions and toxic side effects in the treatment of AD.New treatment ideas and methods have been found for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
