ObjectiveA randomized controlled trial was conducted to investigate the therapeutic effect of Huachansu tablets on opioid-related constipation.To observe the clinical efficacy of Huachansu tablets in the treatment of opioid-related constipation and the effect of Huachansu tablets on patients with opioid-related constipation.Improve the quality of life,and explore the mechanism of Chinese medicine,in order to expand the new therapeutic role of Huachansu tablets,and provide a new reference for clinicians to choose proprietary Chinese medicines.MethodsA randomized controlled trial study was conducted to randomize 70 patients who were admitted to the second district of Guangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and who met the inclusion criteria into the treatment group and the control group,35 cases each.The treatment group was treated with oral Huachansu tablets for 2 weeks for 14 weeks.The control group was given oral phenolphthalein tablets and treated for 2 cycles.The symptoms of constipation and improvement of quality of life were observed after 1 week of treatment and 2 weeks after treatment,and statistical tools were used for data processing to draw conclusions.ResultIntragroup di fference:1.In the treatment group,compared wi th before treatment,the overall condition of constipation symptoms improved after 1 week of treatment and 2 weeks after treatment(P<0.05),quality of]ife improved(P<0.05),and after 1 week of treatment Compared with the treatment,constipation and quality of life improved after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).2.In the control group,constipation symptoms and quality of life improved after 1 week of treatment and 2 weeks after treatment(P<0.05),compared with 1 week after treatment,constipation and life after 2 weeks of treatment.The quality also improved(P<0.05).Difference between groups:There was no significant difference in constipation score between the experimental group and the control group before treatment,1 week after treatment and 2 weeks after treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in quality of life score between the experimental group and the control group before treatment(P>0.05).After 1 week of treatment and 2 weeks after treatment,there was a significant difference in the quality of life between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05).The experimental group was superior to the control group.Comparison of individual symptoms in the group:1.In the treatment group,compared with before treatment,the frequency of bowel movement,unexplained bowel movement,abdominal pain,type of bowel movement,number of unsuccessful bowel movements per day,and time required for each bowel movement were improved after treatment for 2 weeks(P<0.05).There was no significant improvement in the defecation fee(P>0.05).Mental state,fatigue,and sleep improvement(p<0.05),no significant improvement in appetite and daily life(P>0.05).2.In the control group,after 2 weeks of treatment,the frequency of bowel movements,unexplained bowel movements,abdominal pain,time required for each bowel movement,and number of unsuccessful bowel movements per day improved(p<0.05),and the type of bowel movement was difficult and the type of bowel movement needed to be improved.Obviously,fatigue,appetite,and sleep improvement are not obvious to the mental state and daily life.Comparison of clinical efficacy:The total effective rate after treatment for 1 week in the treatment group was 69.7%.The total effective rate was 63.6%in the control group after 1 week of treatment.There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).The total effective rate was 81.8%after treatment for 2 weeks in the treatment group and 78.8%after 2 weeks of treatment in the control group.There was no significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).Conclusion1.Huachansu tablets can effectively improve the symptoms ofopioid-related constipation.2.Huachansu tablets improve opioid-related constipation is not inferior to phenolphthalein tablets.3.Huachansu tablets can improve the quality of life of patients with opioid-related constipation,and is superior to phenolphthalein tablets..
