Objective:To compare the visual acuity, visual quality and patient satisfaction of the trifocal intraocular lens(IOL)and monofocal IOL after implantation. Methods:A prospective,non-randomized,controlled trial of 36 patients(42 eyes)who underwent surgery for cataract surgery in the Department of Ophthalmology,Zhejiang Provincial People's Hospital from January 2017 to January 2018,divided into experimental and control groups. The experimental group was implanted with trifocal IOL(18 eyes,21 eyes),and the control group was implanted with single focus IOL(18 cases,21 eyes). At 3 months after operation, the left eye, middle and near vision of the two groups were observed and the distance, middle and near vision were corrected. The defocus test was performed and the questionnaire was published to report the patient s far, middle and near vision satisfaction, the lens loss rate and the light. The incidence of halos. Results:In the 3 months after operation, the left eye and near vision of the patients in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The distance between the two groups was far from the naked eye. There was no statistical difference in the correction of far, middle and near vision.Significance(p>0.05).The defocus curve between the two groups showed that the best visual acuity was achieved at 0.00D.The curve of the test group was gentle and high at the defocus level of-1.00D?-2.50D,and then reached the peak again at-3.00D.The curve rapidly decreased to a low value at the defocus level of-1.00D?-3.00D,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The results of the questionnaire showed that the experimental group was superior to the control group in the satisfaction of middle and near vision, and the rate of dislocation. The difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),while the difference in distance vision satisfaction and halo incidence was not found between the two groups.Statistical significance(p>0.05).Conclusion:The trifocal IOL provides a good short-term,medium-,and near-perspective visual performance.
