Objective: Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)is an effective treatment for coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CAD),however,in-stent restenosis(ISR)is a major medical problem after percutaneous revascularization.Coronary angiography(CAG)is the gold standard for the diagnosis of ISR,but it is an invasive procedure. Therefore, exploring the non-invasive blood molecular biomarkers and mechanism for predicting ISR has important clinical significance. This article mainly observes the expression of RNCR3 in peripheral blood of patients with coronary in-stent restenosis(ISR),furthermore, the mechanism of action and clinical significance of RNCR3 in ISR are discussed..Methods: We collected patients who review the stent placement of CAG in the Cardiology of Affiliated Hospital of Jining Medical University from March 2017 to October 2018.According to CAG results,it was divided into ISR group(24 cases)and non-ISR group(46 cases).Baseline data of the two groups were separately compared,RNCR3 expression was detected by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction(RT-PCR)in ISR group and non-ISR group. Then univariate and multivariate logistic regression were used to analyze risk factors in patients with ISR.Finally receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to evaluate the potential of RNCR3 as molecular markers of ISR.Results: 1.The expression of RNCR3 in ISR group was lower than that in non-ISR group(1.09 ? 0.45 vs 1.69 ? 0.60),the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).2.Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analysis of statistically significant smoking, diabetes mellitus,RNCR3 and neutrophil to lymphocyte rate(NLR)in the ISR and non-ISR groups, the results show that diabetes mellitus,NLR and RNCR3 are independent risk factors for ISR.3.Area under the curve(AUC)of RNCR3 on ISR patients who are confirmed by review of CAG after the coronary stent of 6-12 months was 0.804,(95% CI 0.693,0.915),the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion : 1.The expression of RNCR3 in peripheral blood of patients with ISR after coronary stent implantation was lower.2.RNCR3 was an independent risk factor for ISR and may be as molecular markers for prediction of ISR.
