| Objective:Through investigation of the clinical data of patients with cheilitis, the clinical classification and diagnosis characteristics of cheilitis in our hospital in the past 2 years were summarized.Questionnaire survey was used to explore the distribution feature of TCM symptoms of cheilitis. The exchange and application of traditional medicine in the treatment of cheilitis provide reference for further advancement of Current clinical work. Methods:Phase I:collecting clinical medical records of patients with clinically diagnosed cheilitis in Department of Mucosa,School of Stomatology,Zhejiang University from September to September 2018.including:age,gender,outpatient case, etc.Descriptive analysis was performed using SPSS 22.0 statistical software.Phase II:according to the preliminary results,a clinical questionnaire was prepared, the contents of the questionnaires and clinical physical signs of the cheilitis patients who were treated in the Department of Mucosa from October 20 to March 2019 were collected,to study the traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)classification of cheilitis with reference to literatures, also to explore its possible clinical distribution patterns trying to promote combined advancement for better integration. Results:Group phase Ⅰ:235 patients,77 males and 158 females, with an average age of 30.42±16.14;patients with 21-30 age group are more common. In April, the peak of psychiatric patients was seen, and the lesions involved the lips, followed by the lower lip.Symptoms are more common with dryness, scaling, and itching.Drug characteristics:vitamins, hormones, antibiotics in the top three drugs, triamcinolone acetonide acetate, recombinant bovine basic fibroblast growth factor, chlorhexidine ranked in the top three in all drugsGroup phase Ⅱ:A total of 45 questionnaires were collected,male:female=17:28,age distribution:7-60,average age:28.56,60%engaged in mental work and 40%engaged in manual labor.16 people suffered from systemic diseases:5 gastrointestinal diseases,4 blood pressure dyslipidemia,2 tracheobronchial inflammation,1 diabetes,1 hepatitis,2 allergic diseases. The remaining 29 human bodies are no different.50%of the population has bad habits of lip and bite.28.2%of patients have tried traditional Chinese medicine.Preliminary investigation of TCM classification found that:blood deficiency and wind dry type(30 cases)>wind toxic coagulation type(10 cases)>spleen and stomach damp heat type(5 cases).Conclusion:1.Within the scope of this study, with a non-abvious incidence difference of cheilitis among the four seasons and a broad patients ages, this lesion mainly involves women in 21-30 years old, which is different from other reports.2.There is none cancer progression currently, within the scope of this study. However, lip cancer could be found in a out-patient’s first visit, with a probability of a past OLP or DLE,according to the trace in the lesion edge3.Within the scope of this research data, the lesion symptoms were mainly dry and desquamate, and the clinical medications were mainly local use hormone drugs(recommended liquid dosage form)combined with relevant body regulation.Preliminary Chinese medicine classification results:blood deficiency and wind dry type>wind toxic coagulation type>spleen and stomach damp heat type4.At the same time, researches on symptom differentiation based on TCM,require a more intuitive and systematic scale to realize the integration docking of Chinese and western medicine, and further develop the advantages of each existing technology and achievements. |
