Objective:To investigate the relevance cerebral microbleeds(CMB)and stroke recurrence within 90 days after ischemic stroke. So,to study the value of CMB in predicting early recurrence of ischemic stroke. Methods:Patients with acute ischemic stroke were consecutively admitted to our hospitals from January 2015 to December 2016.According to SWI,the patients were classed into two groups:CMB and non-CMB.It observed ischemic stroke recurrence with 90-day follow-up.The rates of recurrent stroke were compared between the two groups. The difference between recurrent stroke and the number and location of CMB was further compared. The accumulated 90 days recurrent rate of ischemic stroke was performed using the Kaplan-Meier method.Multivariate Cox regression was used to analyze whether CMB is an independent risk factor for the recurrence of ischemic stroke. Results:There were two hundred and thirty-four patients included in this study in the end and thirty-one(13.25%)patients had recurrent ischemic stroke during follow-up.Compared with 6 of 93 patients without CMB who had an ischemic stroke recurrence(6.45%),25 of 141 patients in the CMB group had recurrent episodes of ischemic stroke(17.73%).There are statistical differences(?2=6.20,P=0.02)between two subgroups. There were 71 cases of mild CMB,53 cases of moderate group,17 cases of severe group, and the recurrence of cerebral infarction was 8 cases,10 cases and 7 cases, respectively. There was a statistically significant difference in the recurrence rate of ischemic stroke among the three groups(?2=8.49,P=0.01),and the severe group was more likely to have recurrent ischemic stroke. No significant difference was found in the recurrent rate of ischemic stroke between patients at different location(P>0.05).Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed that the accumulated 90 days recurrent rate of ischemic stroke was higher in CMB group than in non-CMB group(PLog-Rank=0.01),Multivariate Cox regression analysis revealed that CMB was an independent risk factor for the recurrence of ischemic stroke. Conclusion:CMB may increase the risk of ischemic stroke recurrence within 90 days after ischemic stroke. The more serious degree CMBs are,the higher the risk of recurrence is,and it is no relation with the location of CMB.CMB may be an independent risk predictive factor for early-stage ischemic stroke recurrence.
