The Study Of Therapeutic Relationship Of Art Psychotherapy

Art psychotherapy is an applied cross-disciplinary science formed by the interdisciplinary integration of art,psychology,and medical science.On one hand,through the analysis of the images produced by the visitors in the artistic activities,the therapist helps the visitors to find out the causes of psychological problems and disorders,then explores the strategies for improvements.On the other hand,through the symbolic artistic language and media,the therapist can effectively break through the visitors' self-psychological defense,present the visitors' inner subconscious,stimulate their potential,release their pressure,balance their body and mind,and promote their psychological growth and personality improvement.The therapeutic relationship between art therapists and visitors is an important element of art psychotherapy.The good therapeutic relationship itself has therapeutic value.It is not only the premise for the smooth development of treatment,but also directly affects the effect of treatment,which has been highly concerned in the practice of art psychotherapy.Due to the joining of artistic activities,the therapeutic relationship in art psychotherapy is more pluralistic,which makes it qualitatively different from the traditional psychological counseling.By analyzing various elements of art psychotherapy and their existing patterns,the purpose of this thesis is to reveal the connotation of this difference and its causes,and to further explore the therapeutic significance of artistic psychotherapy through the further analysis of the characteristics of the therapeutic relationship in different artistic psychotherapy,so as to achieve a more comprehensive theoretical perspective of artistic psychotherapy.There are five parts of this thesis.The introduction part introduces the reason I choose this topic and the realistic background of this thesis,reviews the relevant domestic literature,analyzes and discusses the theoretical background and logical starting point of this study,and on this basis puts forward the purpose,the significance and the innovation of this thesis.Chapter one: Summary of the relationship in art psychotherapy.On the basis of clarifying the connotation of the related concepts of art psychotherapy,thischapter defines the basic concepts of art psychotherapy utilized in this study,analyses its development and related elements,combs out the changes of therapeutic relationship in the process of development of art psychotherapy,and points out the structure of "three-dimensional interactive relationship" in art psychotherapy.Chapter two: The nature and category of artistic psychotherapy relationship.In the aspect of the realization of therapeutic effect,the therapeutic value of artistic psychotherapy is embodied in the cultivation,communication and support of therapeutic relationship.By discussing these properties,this thesis further analyzes the specific performance of music therapy,art therapy,theatre therapy,sand-play therapy and other different types of therapy in terms of the therapeutic relationship,thereby summarizes the artistic psychotherapy relationship of "three-dimensional interaction" from a more multi-dimensional perspective.Every specific therapeutic activity will undergo a corresponding process of occurrence and development.Therefore,the connotation of the relationship between therapists and visitors will change at different stages of treatment activities.Chapter three: the process of establishing therapeutic relationship.From the diachronic dimension of artistic psychotherapy process,this thesis analyzes the specific contents of therapeutic relationship in different stages in sequence,from the initial stage,to the creative stage,to the sharing and communication stage and the end stage.Chapter four is the foothold of this thesis.Based on the multi-dimensional theoretic summary of the artistic psychotherapy relationship,this paper puts forward the basic principles of establishing a good therapeutic relationship,and expatiates the specific settings of the accommodating therapeutic environment which can support a good therapeutic relationship,thus operable suggestions are put forward for the realization of the therapeutic value of "three-dimensional interaction" therapeutic relationship.In China,artistic psychotherapy is a brand new subject.Different from the prosperity of practical operation,artistic psychotherapy is relatively blank and under theoretical construction.This research takes the artistic psychotherapy relationship as the object of study,and tries to analyze and summarize it from multi-dimensional point of view,and further explores the healing significance of the artistic psychotherapy relationship.On this basis,this paper puts forward specific suggestions to promote a good therapeutic relationship,expecting to provide scientific guidance and theoretical reference for thedevelopment of artistic psychotherapy practice,as well as providing a new perspective for enriching the academic achievements of artistic psychotherapy and opening up a further theoretical exploration of artistic psychotherapy.
