Survival Analysis Of 296 Patients With Lung Cancer

Objective:To examine the prognostic values of the inflammation parameters,including Glasgow prognostic score(GPS),modified GPS(mGPS),C-reactive protein/albumin ratio(CAR),neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR),platelet/lymphocyte ratio(PLR),prognostic nutritional index(PNI),systemic immune-infammation index(SII)and prognostic index(PI),on the survival time of patients with lung cancer.Methods:The clinical and following up data of 296 patients with lung cancer who treated at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from January 2016 to September 2018 were collected and a multivariate analysis was performed by Cox proportion hazard model to explore the influence of GPS,mGPS,CAR,NLR,PLR,PNI,SII and PI on the survival time of lung cancer.Results:The results of multivariate analysis showed that GPS,mGPS,CAR,NLR,PLR,PNI,SII and PI had statistics relationship with survival time(P<0.05).GPS:In comparison with the group of GPS=0(CRP?10mg/L and serum albumin>35g/L),the HR of the group of GPS=1(CRP>10mg/L and serum albumin>35g/L or CRP<10mg/L and serum albumin<35g/L)was 2.005(95%CI:1.317-3.052,P=0.001),the HR of the group of GPS=2(CRP>10mg/L and serum albumin<35g/L)was 3.063(95%CI:1.801-5.2 1 0,P<0.001).mGPS:In comparison with the group of mGPS:=0(CRP<l Omg/L and serum albumin>35g/L or CRP<10mg/L and serum albumin<3 5 g/L),the HR of the group of mGPS=1(CRP>10mg/L)was 1.980(95%CI:1.284-3.051,P=0.002),the HR of the group of mGPS=2(CRP>10mg/L and serum albumin<35g/L)was 3.019(95%CI:1.778-5.126,P<0.001).CAR:In comparison with the group of CAR<0.17,the HR of the group of CAR?0.17 was 2.459(95%CI:1.671-3.619,P<0.001).NLR:In comparison with the group of NLR<2.26,the HR of the group of NLR?2.26 was 3.011(95%CI:1.963-4.620,P<0.001).PLR:In comparison with the group of PLR<123.82,the HR of the group of PLR>123.82 was 1.701(95%CI:1.090-2.654,P=0.019).PNI:In comparison with the group of PNI>45,the HR of the group of PNI<45 was 1.917(95%CI:1.320-2.783,P=0.001).SII:In comparison with the group of SII?442.45,the HR of the group of SII>442.45 was 2.428(95%CI:1.578-3.736,P<0.001).PI:In comparison with the group of PI=0(CRP<10mg/L and white blood cell count?11×l09/L),the HR of the group of PI=1(CRP<10mg/L and white blood cell count>11×109/L or CRP>10mg/L and white blood cell count?11l×109/L)was 2.438(95%CI:1.671-3.558,P<0.001),the HR of the group of PI=2(CRP>10mg/L and white blood cell count>11×109/L)was 2.147(95%CI:0.887-5.197,P=0.090).Conclusion:PNI was independent protective prognostic factors for lung cancer.GPS?mGPS?CAR?NLR?PLR?SII and PI were independent dangerous prognostic factors for lung cancer.
