Application Of Double Balloon Catheter In Induction Of Labor In Term Pregnancy Women With A Previous Cesarean

Objective:To observe the safety and validity of labor induction by the double balloon catheter in term pregnancy women with a previous cesarean section.Methods:From October 2016 to March 2018 in our hospital,57 previous cesarean section term pregnancy women with cervical immature who had a willingness to undergo vaginal trials were selected as the study group,and 57 non-scarred uterine term pregnancy women with cervical immature were randomly selected as the control group.Both of them were used double balloon catheter to promote cervical ripening and induction of labor.The results were compared between these two groups.The influence factors of cesarean section after labor induction were analyzed by Logistic regression analysis.Restult:There was no significant difference in Bishop Score,induction time and total labor between these two groups after induction(p>0.05).The age of the study group was older than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Outcomes of maternal and fetal complication between these two groups were compared with no significant difference(p>0.05).Logistic regression analysis shows that the scarred uterus was not the factor of cesarean section.Conclusion:Double balloon catheter can be safely and effectively applied in previous cesarean section term pregnancy women to promote cervical ripening and induction of labor,which can reduce cesarean section rate and not increase maternal and fetal morbidity.
