The Study Of The Quality Of Life In SLE Patients With Deficiency Of The Liver-yin And Kidney-yin Treated By Nourishing Yin,Strenthening The Vital Qi And Removing Toxin Plaster

Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a kind of diease whieh is not explored clearly yet,with complex and varied clinical manifestations involved every systems and organs.SLE needs long-term use of drugs such as glucocorticoids and immune inhibitors.SLE greatly reduces the quality of life of patients.With the advance of science and technology and medical treatments,SLE patients survival rate and lifetime improve.Clinical doctors pay more attention to the quality of life in SLE patients.Nourishing Yin,Strenthening the vital Qi and Removing Toxin plaster is a summary of ray tutor' s experience in treatment of SLE patients with deficiency of the liver-yin and kidney-yin.The plaster which is convenient to take,does good for traditional Chinese medicine fully using in SLE,and provides a more convenient and inexpensive means for the prevention and treatment of SLE.ObjectiveTo evaluate The efficacy and safety of Nourishing Yin,Strenthening the vital Qi and Removing Toxin plaster in the treatment of SLE patients with liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.To explore the mechanism in treating SLE,provide the theory basis for the clinical application of the plaster.MethodsForty-six SLE patients conformed the diagnostic and inclusion criteria were involved.The enrolled patients were treated with ointment(20g/time,once daily at night,for 8 consecutive weeks).During the trail,patients maintained the dose of glucocorticoids and immune inhibitors.Patients' basic information and clinical symptoms,vital signs,laboratory examination data,sf-36 scale,SLEDAI score and adverse reactions were recorded at 0 and 8 weeks of the treatment.ResultsAfter 8 weeks of treatment with the plaster,43 cases completed the trail and 3 cases fell off.The results showed that in the six areas of role-Physical(RP),body pain(BP),vitality(VT),role emotional(RE)and mental health(MH),the quality of life after treatment was significarttly increased compared with that before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It can be considered that taking the plaster can improve RP,BP,VT,RE and MH in patients with liver-kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.In physiological function(PF),general health(GH),social function(SF),the score after treatment was increased compared with that before treatment,but the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).It is not believed that taking the plaster can improve PF,GH and SF of patients with liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.In terms of laboratory examination,the results showed that CRP and ESR after treatment were significantly lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It can be considered that taking the plaster can reduce ESR and CRP levels in patients.The levels of C3 and C4 after treatment were significantly higher than before,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It can be considered that taking Nourishing Yin,Strenthening the vital Qi and Removing Toxin plaster can improve the levels of C3 and C4 in patients with liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.The SLEDAI score after treatment was lower than before,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It can be considered that taking the plaster can improve disease activity.During the treatment,no adverse reactions occurred in any patients.ConelusionNourishing Yin,Strenthening the vital Qi and Removing Toxin plaster has a good effect and high safety in improving the quality of life of SLE patients with liver and kidney Yin deficiency syndrome.It can also reduce the level of inflammation inPatients,increase complement and improve disease activity.
