Objective:To explore the correlation between Beck index and vertebral height recovery rate and the rate of vertebral height lossMethods:A retrospective study of 107 patients with PKP(L1)in our hospital from 2015.1 to 2019.1 due to osteoporotic compression fracture(OVCF)was performed.Case data were collected, including age, gender, height recovery rate of the anterior border of the spine,Beck index, and the height loss of the vertebral pedicle height at the 3rd and 6th postoperative days.Multivariate linear regression analysis was used to investigate the relationship between the height recovery rate of the anterior border and the beck index of the vertebral third and sixth months. Results:A total of 107 patients were enrolled, including 55 males and 52 females, aged 48-90 years, with an average age of 74.9±10.2 years, followed up for the third and sixth months after surgery. The height recovery rate of the vertebral front was-50-92%,with an average of 84.48±0.47.The Beck index is 0.56 to 0.89,with an average of 0.77±0.14.In the third month, the height loss of the vertebral body was-6.3 to 18.1%,with an average of 4.99±0.036%.In the sixth month, the height loss of vertebral bodies was-12.27-28.62%,with an average of 7.13±0.058%.Through multiple linear regression analysis, the Beck index and the height recovery rate of the vertebral body and the height loss of the vertebral body in the third and sixth months respectively satisfied that the vertebral height loss rate of the third month was 0.057X vertebral body.Height recovery rate-0.128Xbeck index-0.007,F=103.25,p<0.05;regression equation for the sixth month:Y sixth month vertebral height loss rate=0.07X vertebral height recovery rate-0.236Xbeck index+0.019,F= 61.89,p<0.05.Relevant(R 3rd month=0.82,R 6th month=0.76).Conclusion:The Beck index was negatively correlated with the vertebral height loss rate in the third and sixth months. The postoperative vertebral height recovery rate was positively correlated with the third and sixth month vertebral height loss rate, and was not related to age..The Beck index and the height recovery rate of the vertebral body can better explain the height loss rate of the reaction vertebral body.
