| Objective The study was aimed to observe the effect of Wenyang Huoxue Jiedu decoction on peripheral blood cell coefficient in patients with acute myocardial infarction in order to explore its possible mechanism which could help to provide evidence of the efficacy of Wenyang Huoxue Jiedu decoction in the treatment of acute myocardial infarction.Methods 65 patients with acute myocardial infarction were enrolled in the study.They were divided into experimental group(34 cases)and control group(31 cases).Experimental group were treated by Wenyang Huoxue Jiedu decoction combined with standardized therapy of modern medicine,control group was only treated by standardized therapy of modern medicine which included reperfusion therapy(PCI or thrombolytic therapy)and conventional drug therapy.After 1 week of treatment,the peripheral blood cell coefficient,TCM symptoms scores and quality of life scores were collected and analysised.The differences of these clinical indicatiors between two groups were compared to observe the therapeutic effect of Wenyang Huoxue Jiedu decoction on acute myocardial infarction as well as to explore the possible mechanism.Rsults In terms of peripheral blood cell coefficient,after 1 week of treatment,the white blood cell counts of the experimental group and the control group were changed(P<0.05).And it showed a more significant decrease in white blood cell counts of experimental group than that of the control group(P<0.05).In addition,the distribution of red blood cells in the exporimental group and the control group both decreased after 1 week of treatment(P<0.05),and the experimental group was better at reducing the distribution of red blood cells compared with the control group(P<0.05).However,there was no significant difference in neutrophil count,mean platelet volume,platelet distribution width,platelet count ratio,platelet count,neutrophil lymphocyte ratio,monocyte lymphocyte ratio,monocyte to high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio,red blood cell distribution width platelet count ratio,platelet lymphocyte ratio and platelet volume platelet count ratio between the two groups(P>0.05).In terms of TCM syndrome scores and quality of life scores,the TCM syndrome scores and quality of life scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).The experimental group was better in improving TCM syndrome scores and quality of life scores(P<0.05).Conclusion In the acute phase of myocardial infarction,Wenyang Huoxue Jiedu Decoction could reduce the white blood cells count and red blood cell distribution width of the patients so as to reduce the inflammatory response.And it would play a positive role in improving patients' quality of life. |
