treatment of thyroid gland is a traumatic treatment.Because of the anatomical location of thyroid and other factors related to surgery,the choice of anesthesia methods for tracheal intubation general anesthesia and the individual differences of patients,it caused that the pharyngalgia is a very common postoperative complication in clinic.It not only affects the quality of life of patients in varying degrees,such as swallowing,eating,sleeping and vocalization,but also causes a certain mental burden,and even affects the smooth breathing and rehabilitationprocess of the disease.Therefore,clinicians should attach great importance to the problem of pharyngalgia after thyroid surgery.The purpose andsignificance of this research is to find a more effective method to relieve pharyngodynia after thyroid surgery by comparing the application of self-made Qingyan Dropping Pill lce Cubes,so as to improve the comfort of’ patients after thyroid surgery,reduce the mental burden,promote faster recovery after surgery,and promote the application of this method in clinical practice.MethodsAccording to the time sequence of the patients’ return to the ward after operation,the patients that after thyroidectomy from August 2018 to December 2018 in Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine,with the i nclusion criteria were randomly divided into the two treatment groups and one control group,A total of 120 cases.After eliminating case fal]off,40 cases in each group.The control group(observed according to routine treatment,without using ice cubes),the treatment group(1)(taking the blank ice cubes maked by pure water),and the treatment group(2)(taking the self-made Qingyan Dropping Pill Ice Cubes).Treatment group:When the patient returned to the ward 6 hours after the operation(that is,after the operation anesthesia fully recovered),and give the ice cubes to treat immediately.Specific practices:ice cubes are placed in the mouth near the tongue root of the pharynx.In order to avoid the formation of frostbite in the mouth,the placement of ice cubes should be changed in time,with an interval of about 10 seconds,until the ice is completely melted,and the melted ice water can be swallowed directly.Gargling ice cubes three times a day during the day,and stop taking it during sleep at night until 72 hours after operation.All three groups were treated with 72 hours as a course of treatment.The VAS scores and syndromic symptom scores of pharyngalgia at different time points(6h,24h,48h,72h)were evaluated and recorded by scoring method in the three groups,and the safety indexes during the observation period were monitored.When the course of treatment was completed,the clinical data recorded in the questionnaire survey were sorted out,and the statistical analysis was carried out with Stata 14.0 software package,and the final conclusion was drawn.Results1.The VAS scores of pharyngalgia in the three groups at 48 and 72 hours after operation were significantly different from those at 6 hours after operation,P<0.05,with statistical significance.There was no significant difference in VAS score of pharyngalgia between the treatment group(1)and the control group at different time points(P>0.05).The VAS score ofpharyngalgia in the treatment group(2)was significantly different from that in the control group at 48 and 72 hours after operation(P<0.05).The VAS score of pharyngalgia in the treatment group(2)was significantly different from that in the treatment group(1)at 72 hours after operation(P<0.05).2.The scores of syndromes in the control group 48 hours and 72 hours after operation and in the treatment group 24 hours,48 hours and 72 hours after operation were significantly different from those in the control group 6 hours after operation,P<0.05,with statistical significance.The treatment group(1)and the control group at different time points of the comprehensive symptoms score no significant difference,P>0.05,there is no statistical significance.There were significant differences in the comprehensive symptom scores between the treatment group(2)and the treatment group(1)and the control group at 48h and 72h postoperatively(P<0.05),with statisticalsignificance.3.Comparisons among the three groups 24 hours after operation showed no statistical significance in the evaluation of curative effect(P>0.05).48 hours after operation,there were significant differences in the evaluation of curative effect among the three groups(P<0.05).72 hours after operation,there was no significant difference in the evaluation of curative effect between the three groups(P>0.05).4.72 hours after operation,in the control group,pharyngalgia was cured in 0 cases,markedly effective in 3 cases,effective in 30 cases and ineffective in 7 cases.In the treatment group(1)0 cases of pharyngalgia were cured clinically,3 cases were markedly effective,34 cases were effective and 3 cases were ineffective.The treatment group(2)2 cases of.pharyngalgia were cured clinically,6 cases were markedly effective,31 cases were effective and 1 case was ineffective.There was no significant difference in the total effective rate among the three groups at 24 hours after operation(P>0.05).The total effective rate of the three groups at 48 hours after operation was significantly different(P<0.05).72 hours after operation,there was no significant difference in the total effective rate among the three groups(P>0.05).5.After the treatment,there were no obvious side effects and adverse reactions in the three groups.ConclusionQingyan Dropping Pill Ice Cubes can be used for the treatment ofpharyngalgia in patients after thyroid surgery.It can more effectively and quickly relieve the clinical symptoms of pharyngalgia and otherpharyngolaryngeal discomfort after thyroid surgery.It has the advantages of economy,easy operation,safety,effectiveness and less adverse reactions.It is easy for patients to accept.In a word,the clinical efficacy of Qingyan Dropping Pill Ice Cubes in the treatment of pharyngalgia after thyroid surgery has been basically affirmed through clinical research,which provides a more safe and effective new treatment for patients with pharyngalgia after thyroid surgery,and can be widely promoted in clinical practice. |
