| ObjectiveThe purpose of this study is to treat the Lumber spinal stenosis by tonifying liver and kidney combined with insect drugs,and ovjectivrly evaluates the efficacy and safety of tonifying liver and kidney combined with insect drugs.It also aims to provide a basis for the treatment of Lumber spinal stenosis with traditional Chinese medicine,and further clarify the advantages of TCM in spinal stenosis.MethodsDivided the 60 Lumbar Spinal Stenosis patients,who had been in treatment in Zhongshan Hospital of TCM affiliated to Guangzhou University of TCM during Marc 2018 to December 2018,into the treatment group and the control group randomly.The control group was treated with oral aceclofenac tablets(0.1g twice a day)and oral Mecobalamin tablets(500ug orally three times a day).The treatment group was treated with liver and kidney tonifying method combined with insect drugs(once a day).Both two groups were treated routinely for 4 weeks.And the JOA score,subjective symptoms,daily activity limitation,clinical signs score,serum interleukin-6(IL-6),C-reactive protein(CRP),modified Oswestry dysfunction index questionnaire(ODI)score and safety of the two groups were compared before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment by the use of Relevant Statistical Analysis.Result1,A total of 60 patients with lumbar spinal stenosis were enrolled in the clinical study.The youngest was 48 years old,the maximum was 73 years old,and the average age was 60.11±6.52 years old.Among them,there were 35 males and 25 females.And the ratio of males to females was about 7:5.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in gender,age composition,course of disease and educational level between the two groups(P>0.05),so the two groups were comparable.2.Both two groups of JO A scores were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA.Inter group contrast:there was no significant difference in JOA score(P>0.05),and there has same result between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05,P)0.05).Intra group contrast:the JOA score of the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01,P<0.01).And there was no significant difference in the improvement of JOA efficacy between the two groups after 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).3.Both two groups of subjective symptom scores were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA.Inter group contrast:there was no significant difference in subjective symptom score between two groups before treatment,and has no obvious difference in subjective symptom score between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05,P>0.05).Intra group contrast:the subjective symptom score of the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01,P<0.01).4.Both two groups of daily activity limited scores were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA.Inter group contrast;there was no significant difference in daily activity limited score between two groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the daily activity limited scores of treatment group were higher than the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05,P<0·05)after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of the treatment.Intra group contrast:the daily activity limited score of the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01,P<0.01).5.Both two groups of clinical signs scores were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA.Inter group contrast:there was no obvious signs score difference between two groups,and there has same result between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment and 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05,P>0.05).Intra group contrast:the clinical signs score of the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.01,P<0.01).6.Both two groups of IL-6 and CRP were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA.Inter group contrast:there was no obvious difference in IL-6 and CRP before treatment(P>0.05,P>0.05),and there has no obvious difference in IL-6 and CRP after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05,P>0.05)and 4 weeks of treatment(P>0.05,P>0.05).Intra group contrast:the IL-6 and CRP of the two groups after 2 weeks(P<0.01,/P<0.01)and 4 weeks(P<0.01,P<0·01)of treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment.7.Both two groups of ODI scores were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA.Inter group contrast:there was no obvious difference in ODI scores s before treatment(P>0.05),and there has same result after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05),but after 4 weeks of treatment,the ODI score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.01).Intra group contrast:the ODI scores of the two groups after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.01,P<0.01).8.There were no abnormalities in liver and kidney function indexes before and after treatment.During the study period,one patient in the control group had mild diarrhea and could alleviate it by itself,which was related to the gastrointestinal reaction of the patient to Western medicine.One patient in the treatment group had mild vomiting and could alleviate it by itself,which was related to the patient's inadaptability to the odor of traditional Chinese medicine or gastrointestinal reaction.ConclusionThe method of tonifying liver and kidney combined with insect drugs can effectively improve the clinical symptoms,signs and limitation of activity,and reduce the expression of inflammatory factors in patients with lumbar spinal stenosis.And It has a faster and more remarkable effect in improving the daily activity limitation and the quality of daily life of patients with lumbar spinal stenosis.We can come to the result that the method of tonifying liver and kidney combined with insect drugs can also significantly improve the independence of patients' daily life function,improve the quality of life,and with good safety,which is worthy of further clinical application. |
