Objective:In this study,a randomized controlled study was conducted to observe the effect of Huanglian ointment on drug-induced skin rash caused by epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors. Methods:From October 2017 to December 2018,45 patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the second Department of oncology in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into control group(22 cases)and experimental group(23 cases). The control group was treated with 0.1% hydrocortisone ointment alone, while the experimental group was treated with Huangliangao on the basis of the control group(about 1 cm beyond the range of rash;dosage: uniform thin layer of about 2 mm,twice a day). Two groups of patients improved blood routine, biochemical indicators, while the EGFRIs related skin adverse reactions classification, rash subsidence time, rash recurrence rate,TCM syndrome score and other data analysis, all data were analyzed using SPSS22.0statistical software.Result:(1)There was no significant difference between hydrocortisone ointment and Huangliangao in rash remission grade and rash recurrence rate between the two groups.(2)Hydrocortisone ointment combined with Huangliangao had significant difference in the time of rash subsidence and the improvement of skin itching and pain compared with the simple western medicine group. Conclusion:Hydrocortisone ointment combined with Huangliangao can shorten the time of rash subsidence and improve skin itching.
