Objective:With the widespread use of oral care in the clinic, more and more oral care solutions have been selected for oral care for patients. This topic compares the clinical effects of different oral care solutions on the oral care of critically ill patients, compares the clinical advantages of traditional Chinese medicine oral care solutions, and provides a basis for medical workers to choose effective oral care solutions and implement optimal oral care measures. Methods:From March 2018 to July 2018,patients admitted to our hospital ICU were divided into experimental group and control group according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.68 patients who met the study conditions were divided into experimental group and control group,34 cases in each group.in which the experimental group used oral Chinese oral care solution for oral care, the frequency was 3 times a day,and the control group used normal saline. However, during the course of the experiment,4 patients fell off,and finally 64 patients were included in the analysis of the experimental results,32 in each group. The baseline data of the two groups of patients admitted to the ICU were collected, statistical analysis was performed,Tracking the changes in oral mucosal inflammation grades, gingivitis, lip moistness, and oral odor and oral pH before and after oral care in the morning of the patient's morning,The period is from the patient to the department or death, and the observation time is ? 3 days.Results:1.There were 20 males and 12 females in the experimental group. The age was braces(64.156±15.236)years old,the APACHE II score was(22.094±4.366),the observation time was(7.031±1.805)days,including 7 cases of cerebral hemorrhage, brain There were 6 cases of infarction,6 cases of severe craniocerebral injury,4 cases of heart failure,3 cases of COPD and 2 cases of other diseases. In the control group, there were 18 males and 14 females,aged(61.781±10.896) years old,and the APACHE II score was(22.156±4.523),the observation time was(6.563±2.242) days, including 5 cases of cerebral hemorrhage,8 cases of cerebral infarction,6 cases of severe craniocerebral injury,3 cases of heart failure,5 cases of COPD,and 2 cases of other diseases. There was no significant difference in baseline data(P>0.05).2.The oral odor of the experimental group before and after oral care was(2.881±1.064),(1.153±0.948),and the control group was(2.783±1.113),(1.694±1.054).The oral odor of the two groups before and after oral care was observed. There was a decrease in the test group, which was superior to the control group in reducing oral odor. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In the experimental group,2 patients developed gingivitis, the incidence rate was 6.250%;in the control group,8 cases, the incidence rate was 22.857%.Comparing the two groups, the experimental group was more effective in preventing the occurrence of gingivitis, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.In the experimental group, oral mucositis occurred in 3 patients, the incidence rate was 9.375%;in the control group,11 cases, the incidence rate was 34.375%.Comparing the two groups, the experimental group was more effective in preventing the occurrence of oral mucositis, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.In the experimental group,5 patients had wrinkles, chapped and even bleeding on the lips, the incidence rate was 15.625%;in the control group,23 cases, the incidence rate was 71.875%.Comparing the two groups, the experimental group was more effective in preventing the occurrence of oral mucositis, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The pH value of the test group before oral care was(6.534±0.265),and the pH value after oral care was(6.588±0.136).The pH value of the control group before oral care was(6.519±0.269),and the pH value after oral care was(6.538±0.126).There was no significant difference in pH between the two groups before and after oral care(P>0.05).Conclusion:The use of traditional Chinese medicine oral care solution can effectively reduce the oral odor of critically ill patients, reduce the occurrence of oral complications, increase the oral wetness of patients, and provide reference for clinicians.
