The Clinical Observation Of Scalp-Acupuncture Combined With Percussopunctator In The Treatment Of Vascular Dementia

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of scalp acupuncture combined with percussopunctator in the treatment of vascular dementia,provide a reliable basis for clinical application.Methods: The 66 patients with vascular dementia were from the Third Hospital of Shanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine encephalopathy and rehabilitation department.They meet the diagnostic criteria,inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria.They were randomly divided into a treatment group(scalp acupuncture combined with percussopunctator)and a control group(ordinary acupuncture)on the basis of general western medicine treatment.Two weeks was a course of treatment,and we need to observe four weeks.Then we compared the change of MMSE and ADL scale between the two groups before,after 2 weeks and 4 weeks treatment.The data were analyzed by SPSS21.0Results:1.There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients before treatment(P > 0.05).So the two groups were comparable.2.Group comparison: After 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment,the score of the MMSE and ADL scale was better than the previous.There was statistical difference(P<0.05,P <0.01).3.Comparison between groups: There was no statistical difference between the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).But there was statistical difference between two groups after 4 weeks of treatment.4.From the aspects of improving patients' cognitive function and daily life,clinical results showed that two treatments can improve the cognitive function and daily living ability of patients.But the total effective rate of the treatment group was 83.33% better than the control group 66.67%.It showed that the scalp acupuncture combined with percussopunctator was superior to ordinary acupuncture.Conclusion:1.The scalp acupuncture combined with percussopunctator was better than the ordinary acupuncture in improving the cognitive function.2.The scalp acupuncture combined with percussopunctator was superior to ordinary acupuncture in improving the daily living ability.3.The scalp acupuncture combined with percussopunctatoran was an effective method for the treatment of vascular dementia,and provided the feasibility of the clinical application.
