1.Objective: By observing the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine intervention in the treatment of AIDS patients,we can understand the therapeutic advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of AIDS.2.Methods: Through the treatment of 210 cases of 5 kinds of syndromes(qi and blood deficiency syndrome;liver stagnation and stagnation syndrome;phlegm and blood stasis syndrome;qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome;spleen and stomach weakness syndrome),5 kinds of traditional Chinese medicine oral treatment(Yiqi Yangxue medicine),Shugan Jiexie,Xuanfei Huayu,Jianpi Yiqi,Yiqihuoxue). The changes of symptoms and signs,Kalovsky score, body weight and CD4 lymphocyte count in each group were observed for 12 months and 24 months. The clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating AIDS patients was judged.3.Results: Of the 210 patients,114 were male(54.3%)and 96 were female(45.7%).There were 142 cases(67.6%)of blood donation infections,3 cases(1.4%)of blood transfusion infections,54 cases(25.7%)of sexual transmission, and 11 cases(5.2%)of unknown causes,no drug use and mother-to-child transmission infection.Five kinds of syndromes: qi and blood deficiency syndrome, liver qi stagnation syndrome, phlegm heat and phlegm syndrome,qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome, spleen and stomach weakness syndrome corresponding to 5 kinds of compound Chinese medicine: Yiqi Yangxue medicine,Shugan diarrhea medicine,Xuanfei Oral phlegm, spleen and qi drugs,Yiqihuoxue drugs for oral treatment in December, after 24 months. The results showed that the scores of symptoms and signs in the 12 th month and the 24 th month of the treatment of qi and blood deficiency syndrome were lower than those before treatment(P<0.01),and the difference between Kalovsky score and weight gain(P<0.01).Statistical significance. The number of CD4 lymphocytes increased at the 12 th month of treatment(P<0.01),and the difference was statistically significant. The number of CD4 lymphocytes increased in the 24 th month of treatment(P>0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant.Compared with the 12 th month of treatment, the scores of symptoms and signs decreased(P<0.01),the Kalovsky score increased(P<0.01),and the weight gain(P<0.05)was statistically significant. There was no significant difference in the number of CD4 lymphocytes between the 24 th month and the 12 th month(P>0.05).In the liver and stagnation syndrome group, the scores of symptoms and signs decreased in the 12 th month and the 24 th month before treatment(P<0.01),Kalovsky score and weight gain(P<0.01),the difference was statistically significant..The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 12 th month of treatment(P<0.01),and the difference was statistically significant. The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 24 th month of treatment(P>0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant.Compared with the 12 th month of treatment, the scores of symptoms and signs decreased(P<0.05)and the weight gain(P<0.05)was statistically significant. There was no statistical difference in the Kalovsky score(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in CD4 lymphocyte counts between the 24 th month and the 12 th month(P>0.05).In the 12 th month and the 24 th month of the treatment of TCM group, the scores of symptoms and signs decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.01),Kalovsky score and weight increased(P<0.01).The difference was statistically significant.significance.The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 12 th month of treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 24 th month of treatment(P>0.05),and the difference was not statistically significant. There was no significant difference in CD4 lymphocyte counts between the 24 th month and the 12 th month(P>0.05).In the qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome group, the scores of symptoms and signs decreased in the 12 th month and the 24 th month before treatment(P<0.01),and the Kalovsky score and weight increased(P<0.01).The difference was statistically significant. The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 12th month of treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 24 th month of of the spleen and stomach deficiency syndrome group, the scores of the symptoms and signs decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and the Kalovsky score and weight increased(P<0.01).The difference was statistically significant. The CD4 lymphocyte count was increased in the 12 th month of treatment(P<0.05),and the difference was statistically significant. The CD4 lymphocyte count was month(P>0.05).4.Conclusion: Chinese medicine treatment of AIDS can significantly improve the symptoms and signs and quality of life of patients;it can improve the body quality of patients and increase body weight. The recent use of traditional Chinese medicine can increase the number of CD4 lymphocytes in patients, and the long-term effect is not obvious.
