Objective:The value and feasibility of video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery in the surgical treatment of lung cancer has been clinically confirmed and fully promoted.Because lung infection is one of the main causes of death in patients with lung cancer, this study explored and analyzed the differences between single-operated thoracoscopic lung surgery and traditional thoracotomy in the treatment of pulmonary infection and other complications.Comprehensive evaluation of the feasibility and safety of clinical application of single-operated thoracoscopic techniques. Methods:A total of 350 patients with peripheral lung cancer who underwent surgery from January 2014 to December 2018 were randomly divided into two groups. The experimental group was treated with single-hole thoracoscopic surgery, and the control group was treated with traditional thoracotomy. The control group was enrolled in 175 patients. The differences in intraoperative blood loss, postoperative pain, postoperative thoracic drainage, postoperative operation time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative pulmonary infection and complication rate were compared between the two groups. And focus on the difference in the incidence of lung infection after lung cancer surgery. In this study,SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for statistical analysis, and one-way analysis of variance was used for comparison.Counting data was compared by x~2 test. The difference was statistically significant at P<0.05.Results:All patients underwent surgery successfully and there were no perioperative deaths. The intraoperative blood loss, postoperative pain, postoperative drainage, postoperative hospital stay, and postoperative complications were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the single-port thoracoscopic group was significant.Less than open chest group(P<0.05),including 1 case(1%)with single-hole thoracoscopic incision infection and 3 cases(3%)with traditional thoracotomy wound infection, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),single hole There were 18 cases(10.28%)with thoracoscopic pulmonary infection and 41 cases(23.43%)with traditional thoracotomy,The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Single utility port video-assisted thoracoscopic techniques have the advantages of less trauma, less pain, and faster recovery than conventional thoracotomy, and the incidence of pulmonary infections and other complications is significantly lower than that of traditional open chests. With remarkable feasibility, our hospital has gradually transitioned from traditional thoracotomy to thoracoscopic surgery and has been applied to the clinic on a large scale.
