ObjectiveTo understand the status of negative emotions, family support and self-feeling burden in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes, and to analyze the relationship between negative emotions, family support and self-feeling burden in elderly type 2diabetic patients, and to explore the influencing factors of self-feeling burden. It provides reference for the development of corresponding measures for clinical medical staff and caregivers to alleviate the burden of patients and improve the quality of life of patients.MethodsThis study randomly selected 132 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes who were hospitalized in a third-grade hospital in Nanchang from September 20 to November 1818.The survey included general information about patients, anxiety, depression, family support, and self-feeling.A sense of burden, using SPSS21.0 statistical software to statistically analyze the data, using descriptive statistical methods to analyze the general data, negative emotions, family support and self-feeling burden scores of the elderly type 2 diabetes patients and the scores of each dimension; Two independent sample t-tests and one-way ANOVA were used to compare the differences in self-experience burden among elderly patients with type 2diabetes.The Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the relationship between self-perception burden and negative emotions and family support.Linear regression explores the influencing factors of self-feeling burden.Results1.The total self-feeling burden is 20.07±8.41,which is generally at a light burden level. There are 79 patients(59.8%) who have no obvious burden among 132 patients,30 patients(22.7%) with mild burden, and moderate burdens. For example(12.9%),6 patients(4.6%) were severely burdened.Among the three dimensions of the self-feeling burden scale, the economic dimension scored the highest(2.09±1.21),followed by the emotional dimension score(2.04 ± 0.94),and the body dimension score(1.89±0.99).2.The average score of family support was 10.58±3.58,which was generally at a high level of support.Among them,16(12.1%) had low family support,31(23.5%) had moderate family support, and 85 had high family support level(64.4%).3.The average anxiety score was 44.26±8.24,including 98 patients(74.2%) without obvious anxiety,32 patients(24.3%) with mild anxiety, and 2 patients(1.5%) with moderate anxiety. There were no patients with severe anxiety. The average symptom score of the mixed symptom dimension of anxiety and autonomic function in the four dimensions was the highest(2.62±0.93).4.The average score of depression was 46.22±9.35,including 104 cases(78.9%) without obvious depression,16 cases(12.1%) with mild depression, and 12cases(9.1%) with moderate depression, without severe depression.Among the four dimensions, the psychological barrier dimension scored the highest(2.42±0.77).5.Univariate analysis found that elderly patients with type 2 diabetes had different marital status, residence, family monthly income, major caregiver health status, disease severity, disease cognition and presence or absence of diabetic ketoacidosis in terms of self-perception burden.Statistical differences.6.The results of Pearson correlation analysis showed that the total self-receptive burden of patients with type 2 diabetes was positively correlated with anxiety, and the correlation coefficient was r=0.309(P<0.01).The total self-reception burden and depression of hospitalized elderly patients with type 2diabetes were positive.Correlation, correlation coefficient r=0.397(P<0.01);self-receptive burden emotional factor dimension and family support correlation, the correlation coefficient r was 0.177(P<0.05).7.Stepwise linear regression shows the monthly income of the family, the health status of the main caregiver, the presence or absence of diabetic ketoacidosis, depression, and family support are the influencing factors of self-perception burden in elderly type 2 diabetic patients.Conclusion1.The self-perception burden of elderly type 2 diabetes patients is generally at amild level, patients have no obvious anxiety and depression, and family support is generally at a high level.2.The self-perception burden of elderly type 2 diabetes patients is positively correlated with anxiety and depression.3.Family support is positively correlated with the emotional factors in the self-feeling burden of elderly type 2 diabetes patients, that is,the higher the family support level, the more emotional burden the patient has in the self-feeling burden.4.Family monthly income, major caregiver health status, presence or absence of diabetic ketoacidosis, depression, and family support are factors influencing the self-perception burden of elderly type 2 diabetic patients.
