Objective To research the possible relationship between anesthetic depth and body temperature changes during intravenous and inhalational balanced anesthesia, and to explore the significance of bispectral index monitoring for body temperature preservation. Methods 60 elderly patients performed selective operation of Laparoscopic Combined with Choledochoscopic for Gallbladder Preservation under intravenous and inhalational balanced anesthesia were randomly divided into three groups:group L?BIS remained at 50-59?,group D?BIS remained at 40-49?and group N?no monitoring of anesthetic depth?.Controlled the factors that may affect body temperature changes during the operation. The temperature of the same tympanic membrane at the beginning of anesthesia induction?T0?,and that at 15 minutes?T1?,30 minutes?T2?,45 minutes?T3?,60 minutes?T4?after induction were recorded to reflect the change trend of body temperature.Record the incidence of hypothermia in each group. Results The changes of body temperature at T1,T2,T3,T4 in group L was less than that in group D and group N,the difference was statistically significant?P<0.05?;the incidence rate of hypothermia in group L was less than that in group D and group N?P<0.05?;there was no significant difference between group N and group D neither in the incidence rate of hypothermia nor in the degree of temperature changes after half an hour of anesthesia induction?P>0.05?.Conclusion Compared with deeper anesthesia, shallowly anesthesia guided by BIS monitoring in Laparoscopic Combined with Choledochoscopic for Gallbladder Preservation for elderly patients can protect body temperature and reduce the incidence rate of hypothermia.
