Development And Preliminary Application Of ICU Nursing Climate Assessment Scale For Humanistic Caring

Objectives1.Through a variety of methods to develop an ICU Nursing Humanistic Caring Climate Assessment Scale(INHCCAS),which is objective,scientific,High reliability and reliability and in line with Chinese national conditions,and to provide a scientific tool for assessing the humanistic caring climate of ICU nursing staff.2.To apply the scale to the clinical department.To investigate and analyze the current situation of ICU nursing humanistic caring climate,and to provide reference for the clinical nursing team to constantly improve the ICU caring humanistic caring climate.MethodsThrough the literature review at home and abroad,expert interview and theoretical analysis,the nursing humanistic caring transfer chain is improved,the theoretical framework of ICU nursing humanistic caring climate is constructed,and the scale entry pool is established.The draft of the ICU nursing humanistic caring climate assessment initial scale was developed by Delphi method.90 ICU nurses were pre-tested by convenient sampling method,and the contents of some items in the initial scale were modified according to the survey results.Using the revised initial scale to evaluate 300 ICU nurses,using the critical ratio,correlation coefficient,the homogeneity test,the exploratory factor analysis.The final version of INHCCAS was developed.The reliability and validity of the scale were determined by the content validity,Pearson correlation coefficient,Cronbach’s α coefficient,Spearman-Brown coefficient and test-retest reliability coefficient.Finally,the statistical results of 300 ICU nurse surveys were analyzed and compared.Results1.INHCCAS developed by the ICU includes two modules: the head nurse,the nurse care patient,and six dimensions: environment and emotion,learning and training,concept and security,caring knowledge,caring attitude,caring behavior,44 items.Each item was rated by Likert-5,ranging from 1 point "Very dissatisfied" to 5 points "very satisfied".The higher the score,the better the ICU nursing humanistic caring climate.2.Findings showed that the exploratory factor analysis showed the cumulative variance contribution rates of the two modules were 80.494% and73.531%.The content validity of the scale was 0.848,the Cronbach’s αcoefficient of scale was 0.934,Spearman-Brown coefficient of scale was 0.791,and the test-retest reliability was 0.703.3.The current survey results show that the ICU nursing humanistic caring climate of a top hospital in Liaoning province is at a relatively high level.Scores of the first module in order were learning and training,concept and safeguard,work and emotion;Scores of the second module in order were caring attitude,caring behavior and caring knowledge.Gender,age,family location,whether I am the only child,working years,current status have no effect on the ICU nursing humanistic caring climate,the score difference is not statistically significant(P>0.05).Different academic qualifications,different marital status,children with or not,and whether or not they have received humanistic caring training have an influence on ICU nursing humanistic caring climate scores.The difference is statistically significant(P<0.05).Head nurses’ caring,colleague caring and family caring have an impact on the ICU nursing humanistic caring climate(P<0.05).Conclusion1.This study formed INHCAAS,constructed the framework and connotation of INHCAAS,enriched the theoretical basis of INHCAAS,and it can be used for the evaluation of INHCAAS.2.This study analyzed the current situation and influencing factors of the ICU nursing humanistic caring climate of a top hospital in Liaoning province,and provided reference for the evaluation of ICU nursing care atmosphere.
