| The thesis is comprised of four chapters.Reported in chapter one was the phytochemical investigation of roots and rhizomes of Mallotus repandus;The second chapter described the phytochemical investigation of roots and rhizomes of Cirsium setosum:The third chapter discussed the phytochemical investigation of roots and rhizomes of Leonurus japonicus.By means of chromatographic methods(normal phase chromatographic columns,reversed-phase column,sephadex LH-20 and HPLC),50 compounds including 3 new compounds were isolated,22 compounds including 2 new compound were isolated from the methanol extract of the roots and rhizomes of Mallotus repandus,22 known compounds were isolated from the methanol extract of the roots and rhizomes of Cirsium setosum,6 compounds including 1 new compound were isolated from the methanol extract of the roots and rhizomes of Leonurus japonicus.Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic methods(1D-and 2D-NMR,MS,UV and IR).In the last chapter,Recent progress of the phytochemical study of the genus Cirsium Mill.emend.Scop.Chapter 1 Study on Chemical Constituents of Mallotus repandusMallotus repandus is a perennial herb belonging to the genus of Mallotus,Euphorbiaceae family,the roots and rhizomes have been used in Chinese Traditional Medicine,with the therapeutic effects of snakebite,rheumatism pain and chronic ulcer.However,a systematic study of its chemical constituents is still in lack.In this work,22 compounds(including 2 new compounds)were isolated from the methanol extract of the roots and rhizomes of Mallotus repandus,picked from LiuPanShui,GuiZhou.The new compound is a dimer and an organic acid.The known compounds include 10 lignans,2 flavonoids,2 coumarins,1 monoterpenoids and 5 benzene derivatives.Chapter 2 Study on Chemical Constituents of Cirsium setosumCirsium setosum is a perennial herb belonging to genus of Cirsium,Composite family.It has been used as a hemostasis medicinal herb in folk with the history traced back to the Tang Material Medica.There are a number of reports on the chemical constituents and bioactivities of this plant.In this study,from the methanol extract of the roots and rhizomes of Cirsium setosum,collected from Honghe prefecture,Yunnan,22 known compounds were isolated,including 5 flavonoid glycosides,4 flavonoids,2 lignans,4 phenylpropanoid,1 sesquiterpenoid glycoside,2 organic acids and 4 benzene derivatives.Chapter 3 Study on Chemical Constituents of Leonurus japonicusThis chapter put the final touches on the isolation of the methanol extract of Leonurus japonicus,which led to the isolation of 6 labdane diterpenoids(including 1 new compound).Chapter 4 Recent advances of Cirsium Mill.emend.ScopIn this chapter,the recent progress in the phytochemical research and bioactivities of the genus Cirsium were summarized,in order to provide guidance for the development and utilization of this genus. |
