Cultural identity refers to an individual's recognition and approval of the national culture and the cultural sense of belonging generated on this basis.Cross-cultural identity,on the other hand,is based on the mutual communication between different cultures.Individuals'acceptance,recognition and appreciation of another culture or cultural group are naturally generated.Traditional Chinese medicine culture is a part of the essence of traditional Chinese culture,which reflects the core value of national culture and the sense of national identity and belonging.In the context of the increasingly accelerated pace of globalization,the exchanges and collisions between the world's ethnic cultures have become fierce.Cross-cultural identity is the basis of promoting the overseas dissemination and development of TCM.From the perspective of cultural identity theory,this study took Australia,the first western country to carry out TCM legislation,as an example,reviewed and sorted out relevant literatures in recent 10 years,analyzed and commented on the spread of TCM in Australia,and conducted a series of studies on it.First of all,this paper analyzes the concept of culture and cultural identity of Chinese medicine,the second chapter mainly for Australia's multicultural background and the spread of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia history has made the investigation and analysis,summed up the Australia's multicultural background and the appearance of Chinese cultural diversity,gave birth to the survival and development of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine culture in five different historical period the difficulties encountered in the transmission of and results.And then project focus to Australian doctors of traditional Chinese medicine registration and management,Chinese media reported a series of empirical data as the research object,combing development speed and characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine from the front,from the side to understand Chinese medicine encountered in the process of communication barriers,based on the results of these two aspects of development,existing problems are analyzed and strategies.Based on the analysis of the registration management of Chinese medicine practitioners,empirical data and corpus reported by Chinese media,this paper comes to the conclusion that the dissemination of Chinese medicine in Australia has achieved certain results,such as the legislation of Chinese medicine,the improvement of the management system of Chinese medicine,the technical identification of the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine,the concept identification of traditional Chinese medicine health care and so on.However,there are also some problems,such as the language barrier of registered Chinese medicine practitioners,the status of traditional Chinese medicine,and the limitations of Chinese media communication.On the strategy of cultural identity,the author summarizes several Suggestions based on the empirical analysis in chapter 3 and chapter 4.Improve the self-confidence and identity of TCM culture;We will strengthen media exchanges and cooperation.To sum up,the author believes that the transmission mode and experience of TCM culture in Australia are worthy of reference.To explore the development and communication of traditional Chinese medicine in Australia,analyze identity issues and summarize development strategies,so as to improve the recognition of traditional Chinese medicine culture and promote the spread of traditional Chinese medicine culture in Australia,so as to provide reference for the global development of traditional Chinese medicine and create benefits for the health of people in Australia and the world at large.
