Objective: To investigate the relationship between cognitive impairment and the severity of clinical symptoms of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD),and to explore the intrinsic clinical manifestations of ADHD.The neuropsychological mechanism provides an objective assessment method and a new perspective for rehabilitation in the clinical diagnosis of ADHD.Method: ADHD children(n=27)and normal children(n=29)were studied.ADHDDS-P was used to assess the clinical severity of the child, and the Continuous Performance Task(CPT),Simon task, conflict suppression task,stop-signal task, psychological rotation task,n-back task were used to evaluate the child.Persistence attention deficit, interference response inhibition defect, dominant response inhibition defect, persistent response inhibition defect, psychological rotation defect, working memory defect, analysis of the relationship between cognitive function and clinical symptom severity. Results: 1.In the CPT task, the omission errors of children with ADHD was significantly higher than that of normal children. The omission errors of children with ADHD was significantly correlated with the total score of the ADHD rating scale(p<0.01),and also correlated with the attention deficit score(p<0.01),indicating that ADHD's sustained attention defects are positively correlated with the severity of clinical symptoms, and the regression was significant.2.In the interference inhibition experiment, the effect size of ADHD children's error rate is distinctly higher than normal children(p<0.01),indicating that ADHD children had interference inhibition defects. The effect size of ADHD children error rate was significantly correlated with the total score of ADHDDS-P(p<0.05);the effect size of ADHD children error rate was significantly correlated with the hyperactive impulse score(p<0.05),indicating that there is a positive correlation between the ADHD interference inhibition defect and the severity of clinical symptoms, and the regressionis is significant(p<0.05).3.In the prepotent response inhibition experiment,ADHD children's error rate is higher than normal children(p<0.05).The ADHD children's error rate in the prepotent response inhibition experiment was correlated with the score of hyperactivity impulse(p<0.05).The regression is significant(p<0.05).4.In the stop-signal task, the error rate of ADHD children was significantly higher than that of normal children(p<0.05).The error rate of ADHD children was significantly correlated with the total score of ADHDDS-P(p<0.05).It was significantly correlated with hyperactive impulses also(p<0.05),indicating that there is a positive correlation between the ADHD stopping ongoing response inhibition deficit and the severity of clinical symptoms. The regression is significant.5.In the mental rotation task, the psychological rotation error rate of ADHD children was significantly higher than that of normal children(p<0.05).The error rate of ADHD children was significantly correlated with the total score of ADHDDS-P(p<0.01),significantly correlated with the score of attention deficit(p<0.05),indicating that the ADHD psychological rotation defect is positively correlated with the severity of clinical symptoms, and the regression is significant.6.In the n-back task, the correct rate of 1-back,2-back,3-back tasks in ADHD children was significantly lower than that in normal children(p< 0.05;p< 0.05;p< 0.01).There are no significant differences in two groups. The error rate and the response time of the n-back task have no significant correlation with the scors of ADHDDS-P.Conclusion:1.Compared with normal children,ADHD children have a wide range of cognitive deficits.Including continuous attention deficit, interference inhibition defect, prepotent response inhibition defect, stopping ongoing response inhibition defect, mental rotation defect, working memory defect.2.The attention deficit of children with ADHD is significantly correlated with the severity of clinical symptoms. The established one-way regression model can predict the severity of clinical symptoms of ADHD.3.The three executive dysfunctions of ADHD children were significantly associated with clinical symptoms. The established one-way regression model can predict the severity of clinical symptoms of ADHD.4.The processing ability of ADHD children's appearance is significantly correlated with the severity of clinical symptoms. The established one-way regression model can predict the severity of clinical symptoms of ADHD.5.ADHD children's memory impairment is not associated with the severity of clinical symptoms.
