Objective By searching relevant literature on the clinical efficacy of surface electrical stimulation on urination dysfunction after stroke, the effect of body surface electrical stimulation on urination function of stroke patients was comprehensively and systematically evaluated by using the meta analysis method. And providing certain scientific basis for its clinical application in the reconstruction of urination function after stroke. Methods China hownet database by computer retrieval,VIP resources system,a database of ten thousand,China journal full-text database, the Cochrane Library,PubMed database on the surface electrical stimulation effect on stroke patients after urination disorder of randomized controlled trials,to retrieve the references of the paper at the same time, the time from the Library(publication)to September 2018.A Randomized Controlled Trial(RCT)was conducted on the treatment of post stroke urination disorder using surface electric stimulation versus conventional treatment,or(or surface electric stimulation plus N intervention versus N intervention). To evaluate the quality of included studies,Stata12.0 software was used for Meta analysis of the literature with less clinical heterogeneity. This study mainly analyzes the end Of the index for the clinical curative effect, residual urine volume before and after the treatment,QOL score(Quality Of Life,QOL),LUTS score(the Lower Urinary Tract Syndrome),etc.ResultsFinally,16 literature, all in Chinese, were included.A total of 1267 patients were included in this study.Meta analysis results: among the effects of body surface electrical stimulation on urination function after stroke, the clinical effect(RR=1.332,95% CI[1.245,1.425 ],P < 0.001)?residual urine volume(SMD=-2.891,95% CI [-3.978,-1.805],P < 0.001)?QOL(SMD=-1.695,95% CI [-1.959,-1.431 ],P < 0.001)?LUTS(SMD=-1.257,95% CI [-1.499,-1.015],P < 0.001),were statistically significant different from that of the conventional control group, suggesting that the clinical effect of body surface electrical stimulation on urination disorder after stroke was better than that of the control group. Conclusion Surface electrical stimulation can improve the urination function of stroke patients, reduce residual urine volume, and significantly improve the quality of life of patients with urination disorders.Compared with other electric stimulation treatments, the surface electric stimulation therapy is non-invasive,easy to operate, safe and effective, and can be used in the whole rehabilitation stage after the occurrence of stroke and urination disorder.Due to the limited number and poor quality of the included literature, more studies are needed to support the conclusions.
