Background:In recent years,anti-angiogenesis therapy of tumors is in the ascendant.Vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitors,represented by bevacizumab,are on the stage.Because of their excellent clinical efficacy and filling the gaps in the field of cancer treatment,they are becoming the focus of research by experts and scholars in the field of cancer.Bevacizumab is a monoclonal antibody against the ligand of vascular endothelial growth factor.It can selectively bind to vascular endothelial growth factor and block the signal pathway of vascular endothelial growth factor to inhibit the growth of tumors.Proteinuria,as one of the adverse reactions of bevacizumab,to a large extent limits and affects the clinical use of bevacizumab.It can lead to mid-stage,delayed or even permanent cessation of anti-angiogenesis therapy for tumors,seriously affects the clinical efficacy and reduces the clinical benefits of patients receiving treatment.For this situation,there is no specific prevention and solution or the way of treatment.Chinese medicine has rich experience in the treatment of proteinuria,showing its unique advantages.Up to now.some experience and related studies ha-ve shown that gallnut tannic acid contained in Chinese medicine gallnut can precipitate protein and protect the kidney function of patients to a certain extent,so it has a better prospect in the treatment of proteinuria.Objective:By observing the clinical effect of gallnut on proteinuria caused by bevacizumab,In this research,the traditional Chinese medicine therapy for the treatment of side-effect proteinuria caused by bevacizumab is explored to provide objective basis and new ideas for better use of bevacizumab in clinic and improve clinical benefit,open up a new method for the treatment of proteinuria caused by traditional Chinese medicine,promote the clinical application of bevacizumab and also provide theoretical basis and support for further in-depth study.Methods:Sixty patients with proteinuria induced by bevacizumab were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 cases in each group.The treat,ment group was given bevacizumab injection and gallnut granule,while the control group was given bevacizumab injection only.The clinical efficacy of gallnut in the treatment of proteinuria induced by bevacizumab was evaluated by using statistical methods and software.The therapeutic efficacy of gallnut in the treatment of proteinuria induced by bevacizumab was recorded before and after treatment for 24-hour urinary protein quantification and qualitative indicators of urinary protein and safety indicators such as urea nitrogen,serum creatinine,alanine aminotransferase and glutamic oxaloacetate aminotrans ferase.Results:There was no significant difference in age,sex,weight and other indexes between the treatment group and the control group before admission(P>0.05).which was comparable.The total effetive rate of the two groups was 86.67%in the treatment group and 33.33%in the control group.The total effective rate of the treatiment group was significantly better than that of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were significant differences in qualitative and quantitative analysis of 24-hour urinary protein between the treatment group and the control group after treatment,and the treatment group was superior to the control group with statistical significance(P<0.05).Compared with the specific indicators in the two groups,the qualitative and 24-hour urinary protein quantification after treatment in the treatment group were significantly different from those before treatment,with statistical signi ficance(P<0.05),while there was no statistical difference in the control group.There was no significant difference in glutamic-alanine aminotransfe rase,glutamic-oxaloacetic aminotransferase,creatinine and urea nitrogen between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion:Gallnut can reduce proteinuria caused by bevacizumab.It has a definite curative effect and good safety.No obvious toxic side effects and adverse reactions were observed.
