ObjectiveTo detect the serum levels of Interleukin-35(IL-35)and Interleukin-37(IL-37)in patients with inflammatory bowl disease and investigate the relationship with the disease activity, which could provide a new idea for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease.Methods70 patients with UC included 45 patients with active UC and 25 patients with inactive UC,33 patients with CD included 18 patients with active CD and 15 patients with inactive CD and 60 healthy people were chosen. The serum levels of IL-35 and IL-37 were measured by ELISA.ResultsNo matter active or inactive, the serum levels of IL-35 and IL-37 were lower in patients with UC and CD than those in the normal controls(p<0.05);The serum levels of IL-35 and IL-37 were lower in patients with active UC and CD than those inpatients with inactive UC and CD(p <0.05);IL-35 in serum of patients with active IBD had a positive relevance to IL-37(r=0.875,p<0.05).ConclusionsThe serum levels of IL-35 and IL-37 in patients with IBD decrease, which takes part in the process of IBD.
