ObjectiveTo study the risk of postoperative fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomy and to find out the risk factors to provide a basis for clinical prevention and treatment.Subjects and MethodsThe clinical data of 245 patients who underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy at the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2016 to August 1818 were retrospectively analyzed. All patients were examined by color Doppler ultrasound,CT,etc.determined to have kidney stones or upper ureteral stones;no serious heart, brain and lung complications,no serious coagulopathy and urinary tumor history;preoperative blood routine, coagulation function, liver and kidney function, electrolytes, electrocardiogram, chest X-ray and other routine examinations have no obvious abnormal results. The average age of 245 patients was 48.5±13.8 years old, including 52 cases of ?60 years old,193 cases of <60 years old;181 cases of stones with maximum diameter ?20mm,64 cases of <20mm group;preoperative urinary tract infection in 157 cases,no urinary tract infection in 88 cases,33 cases of diabetes,212 cases of non-diabetes group,97 cases of operation time ?100mim group,148 cases of <100min group,54 cases of urine culture result and 191 cases of negative. To explore the risk factors of postoperative fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomy.RESULTSA total of 66 patients in 245 patients had postoperative fever, and the fever rate was 26.9%.The age,the largest diameter of the stone, the preoperative urinary tract infection, the diabetes mellitus, the operation time and the urine culture were compared between the two groups in 245 patients. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),preoperative urinary tract infection, diabetes, and surgical time were statistically significant in multiple factor logistic regression analysis(OR > 1,P <0.05).ConclusionVenerable age, large stone volume, preoperative urinary tract infection, diabetes mellitus, long operation time and positive urine culture are related risk factors, while gender is not a risk factor, logistic regression analysis showed that preoperative urinary tract infection, diabetes, and long operation time were independent risk factors for postoperative fever.Targeted measures for relevant risk factors can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative fever after percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
