Exploring The Experience Of Wan Quan In Treating Pediatric Diarrhea

Objective:Infantile diarrhea is a common digestive system disease and one of the common diseases in paediatrics.Wan Quan,a doctor in Ming dynasty,whose family had practiced medicine for three generations,was especially famous for his expertise in pediatrics,and he wrote a lot of books,which provided valuable experience for later generations to study pediatric diseases.By fully studying Wan Quan's pediatric works related to infantile diarrhea and collecting and sorting out relevant materials,we hope to deeply study Wan Quan's clinical experience and academic characteristics in the treatment of infantile diarrhea,so as to provide ideas for the diagnosis and treatment of clinically related diseases and make contributions to the inheritance and development of Wan Quan's academic achievements.Methods:By adopting the method of literature research,it focuses on the pediatric works related to infantile diarrhea in “wan Mi-zhai medical encyclopedia”,such as “book of tablet jade heart”,“secrets of infant care”,“pediatrics developing”and “The essentials of wide fertility”.By sorting out the theoretical discussion and medical records related to diarrhea,as well as the literature and materials related to Wan Quan pediatrics,the academic origin of Wan Quan treatment for infantile diarrhea was systematically summarized as far as possible,so as to deeply understand its clinical experience.By analyzing and studying relevant medical cases,We further discusses the academic ideas on the treatment of diarrhea,and extracts the clinical characteristics and clinical drug use characteristics.Results:The research shows that the academic origin of Wan Quan treatment for infantile diarrhea is not only derived from family inheritance and benefit from its profound Confucian foundation,but also from the inheritance of classical theories of traditional Chinese medicine and the medical experience of various predecessors.Through learning from others' advantages and combining with practice,a unique system for the prevention and control of infantile diarrhea is finally formed.In the treatment of infantile diarrhea,Wan Quan paid full attention to prevention before disease,through the cultivation of innate endowment and regulating to prevent disease;And the etiology of diarrhea in children is wind,cold,heat,wet,food,but not wet;Its pathogenesis is always external sensation,food and drink damaging the spleen and stomach;In the aspect of syndrome differentiation,Wan Quan divided it into etiology,viscera and season,etc.,but no matter how to divide,the treatment method,Wan Quan followed Zhang Zhongjing treatment for diarrhea,which including warming,diuresis,raising and astringency.Wan Quan usually used li zhong pill,wu ling powder,bu zhong yi qi decoction,dou kou pill,etc.But in practical clinical application,we should not only follow the treatment method,but also “see what the disease is like”,and treat it with syndromes.and pay attention to the care of spleen,stomach and spleen when using medicine.The prognosis was directly related to the function of spleen and stomach.By combining the relevant medical records of infantile diarrhea with experience of Wan Quan treatment for diarrhea in children,and have a deeper understanding of the prevention of diarrhea in children and the treatment of syndromes due to mechanism.Through the investigation of relevant medical records,it is found that Wan Quan has its own characteristics in clinical symptoms and drug use when treating infantile diarrhea,which provides ideas for the
