Objective Adult acquired flatfoot-deformity is a common disease in Foot&Ankle Surgery clinical works.Calcaneous lateral column lengthening osteotomy(Evans osteotomy)is an effective method to correct the forefoot abduction deformity. The paper aims to investigate the incidence rate of calcaneocuboid joint arthrosis in the correction of the adult acquired flatfoot deformity with Evan's osteotomy and to Provide reference for clinic.Method Eleven eases adult acquired flatfoot deformity of Binzhou medical university hospital were enrolled as research group in the present study From September 2015 to August 2016.They were treated by the Evan's Osteotomy.Fifteen patients with flat foot which treated by Posterior tibial tendon reconstruction therapy were enrolled as the control group in the corresponding period. To evaluate the effect of treatment by measuring the calcaneal pitch angle changes of preoperative and postoperative and to observe the incidence rate of calcaneocuboid joint arthrosis by observing postoperative image examination.Result Twenty-six cases in the study were followed up for 6?22 months, with an average of 15.6 months. In preoperative and postoperative, the Calcaneal Pitch angle was 10.80 ± 3.68°and 24.77±2.62°,respectively.P<0.01,the difference is statistically significant.A good recovery with the arch of the foot was achieved in all 26 patients.3 cases of the patients in the experimental group showed arthritis of calcneocuboid joint in the postoperative image examination, and 15 patients in the control group showed no signs of calcaneocuboid joint arthritis. Conclusion Evans osteotomy can effectively correct the forefoot abduction deformity of the flat foot.To some extent, the calcaneal lateral column lengthening increases pressure of the calcaneocuboid joint, thereby increasing the risk of arthritis in the calcaneocuboid joint?...
