1 ObjectiveBy using Modified Wuling Powder to treat patients with Damp-heat accum ulation syndrome in hyperuricemia,we observed the blood uric acid(SUA),seru m creatinine(Scr),urea nitrogen(BUN),adenosine deaminase(ADA),xanthine o xidase(XOD),blood glucose(fasting blood glucose,2h postprandial blood gluco se),blood lipid(total cholesterol,triglyceride,high density lipoprotein,and low b lood pressure).To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Modified Wuling Powder in tr eating hyperuricemia patients with Damp-heat accumulation syndrome.2 MethodsFrom January 2018 to January 2019,60 patients with hyperuricemia who m et the inclusion criteria in the Department of endocrinology of the First Affiliate d Hospital of Anhui University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were enrolled in this study.Using Casio fx-180 function calculator,the remaining 60 patients we re randomly divided into experimental group of 30 cases and control group of 30 cases.After two weeks of routine hypouric acid therapy,the control group wa s given diet control and moderate exercise,while the experimental group was gi ven Wuling powder on the basis of diet control and moderate exercise.Four we eks is a course of treatment,a total of 12 weeks and three courses of treatment.To observe the SUA,Scr,BUN,ADA,XOD,blood sugar,blood lipid,body m ass index and other indicators before and after the experiment,as well as the ch anges of TCM syndrome scores and symptoms,so as to explore the clinical inte rvention effect of Modified Wuling Powder on hyperuricemia patients with Damp-heat accumulation syndrome.3 ResultsThere were 60 cases of hyperuricemia in the actual group,30 cases in the ex perimental group and 30 cases in the control group.There were no significant di fferences in sex,age,TCM symptom score and biochemical indexes between theexperimental group and the control group before treatment(P > 0.05).(1)To o bserve the blood uric acid(SUA),serum creatinine(Scr)and urea nitrogen(BU N)of patients with this disease treated with Wuling powder: After treatment,the experimental group and the control group were significantly lower than before t reatment(P < 0.05);after treatment,the experimental group improved more signi ficantly than the control group,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).(2)Blood sugar: After treatment,fasting blood glucose(FPG)and postprandial blood gluc ose(2hPG)in the experimental group and the control group were significantly lo wer than before treatment(P < 0.05);after treatment,there was no significant di fference between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05).(3)B lood lipids: After treatment,the total cholesterol(TG),triglyceride(TC),low den sity lipoprotein(LDL-C)and high density lipoprotein(HDL-C)in the experiment al group and the control group decreased significantly,while the HDL-C increase d significantly(P < 0.05);after treatment,the improvement of the experimental group was more significant than that of the control group(P < 0.05).?(4)Ad enosine deaminase(ADA)and xanthine oxidase(XOD).After treatment,the activ ity of ADA and XOD in the experimental group decreased significantly compare d with that before treatment(P < 0.05),and the activity of ADA and XOD in t he experimental group improved more significantly than that in the control group(P > 0.05).Therapeutic effect of TCM syndromes: After treatment,the sympto ms and signs of the experimental group and the control group were significantly improved,and the total score of TCM syndromes in the experimental group wa s better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).Safety indicators: During the course of treatment,blood routine,urine routine,liver function,renal function an d electrocardiogram were monitored in the normal range,and there were no obvi ous adverse reactions in the two groups.4 ConclusionsModified Wuling Powder can effectively reduce ADA and XOD activity in human body.It has obvious curative effect on treating hyperuricemia patients with Damp-heat accumulation syndrome.It can also improve clinical symptoms,red uce uric acid and regulate blood lipids without obvious side effects.The results of this study provide a scientific basis for Modified Wuling Powder in treating h yperuricemia with Damp-heat accumulation syndrome.
