Clinical Observation Of Guijia Zhitong Capsule Combined With Traction In The Treatment Of Neck Type Of Cervical Spondylosis

Objective:Through a randomized controlled clinical trial,the curative effect of Guijia Zhitong Capsule combined with traction was compared with that of traction alone in the treatment of neck type of cervical spondylosis.The efficacy and safety of Guijia Zhitong Capsule were evaluated,and the basis for clinical application of Guijia Zhitong Capsule was also provided.Methods:In this study,76 patients who met the criteria of spinal surgery in Shanxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were collected from December 2017 to December 2018.76 neck type of cervical spondylosis patients were randomly divided into Guijia Zhitong Capsule combined traction group(Guijia traction group)and simple traction group(simple traction group).There are 38 people in each group.After statistical analysis,the general data of the two groups were comparable,P>0.05.Guijia traction group:Guijia Zhitong capsule combined with traction therapy.We asked patients to take Guijia Zhitong Capsules orally after meals,4 capsules each time,three times a day.Having daily traction treatment in our hospital,with a special person responsible for traction.Treatment time was 3 weeks.Simple Traction group:traction alone therapy.Having daily traction treatment in our hospital,with a special person responsible for traction.Treatment time was 3 weeks.Traction method:using the traction therapy of occipital and maxillofacial traction belt,the patient sits in a position,the eyes look straight ahead,and the cervical spine flexes forward.The traction angle is controlled at about 10~0,depending on the comfortable angle of the patient.The traction weight started at 5 kg and increased by 0.5 kg.The maximum weight was not more than 1/10 of the patient's body weight.Once a day,30 minutes each time for 3 weeks.Guijia traction group and simple traction group were supplemented by health education.The criteria for diagnostic and curative effect of TCM diseases,analgesic score,cervical mobility and cervical dysfunction index(NDI)were used as observational indexes.The clinical effects of the two groups were observed and the data were analyzed by SPSS17.0 software.The recurrence rate was observed after 3 months.Results:(1)By statistical analysis,the overall effective rate of Guijia traction group and simple traction group after treatment was compared.The results showed that Z=-2.62,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.It can be seen that Guijia Zhitong Capsule combined traction is better than simple traction.(2)After treatment,the analgesic scores of Guijia traction group and simple traction group were compared and analyzed,P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule could improve neck pain.(3)After treatment,by comparing the cervical dysfunction index between Guijia traction group and simple traction group,P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule can improve cervical function.(4)By comparing the recurrence rate between Guijia traction group and simple traction group,P<0.05,the difference has statistical significance,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule can reduce the recurrence rate of neck type of cervical spondylosis.(5)No adverse reactions were found during the observation of the safety of Guijia Zhitong Capsule,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule is safe in the treatment of neck type of cervical spondylosis.Conclusion:Through this clinical trial,Guijia Zhitong Capsule combined with traction is better than traction alone in the treatment of neck type of cervical spondylosis.In terms of pain improvement,the pain score of Guijia traction group was significantly better than that of simple traction group,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule is conducive to relieving pain of patients.In terms of improving cervical vertebral function,the improvement of cervical vertebral dysfunction index score in Guijia traction group was significantly better than that in simple traction group,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule was beneficial to improving cervical vertebral function.The recurrence rate of Guijia traction group was significantly reduced,indicating that Guijia Zhitong Capsule has a good long-term effect on neck type of cervical spondylosis.Through the observation of the safety during the medication,no adverse reactions were found.Guijia Zhitong Capsule can be used to treat the neck type of cervical spondylosis.
