Objective: Routine two-dimensional echocardiography(2DE)was used to study the changes of left ventricular Tei and E/Em before and after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)in patients with acute myocardial infarction(AMI),TTo further explore the clinical value of Tei index and E/Em in evaluating the efficacy of PCI in patients with acute myocardial infarction. Methods: Thirty-five patients admitted to our hospital with acute myocardial infarction for the first time were selected. All of them underwent coronary angiography(CAG)to confirm at least one coronary artery lesion, and PCI was performed at a later date,Routine two-dimensional and doppler echocardiography were performed preoperatively, one day postoperatively, one month postoperatively, and three months postoperatively,The patient was placed in the left lateral position and connected with the lead electrocardiogram.Philips IE33 color doppler ultrasound diagnostic instrument was used and S5-1 two-dimensional cardiac probe was selected to obtained Left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVEDD),Left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVESD),left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),the ratio of peak flow rate between early diastolic and late diastolic mitral valve orifice(E/A ratio)And the Tei index,E /Em ratio was measured by doppler(DTI).Another 40 healthy people with age matching were selected as the reference group. Results: The LVEF and E/A of the myocardial infarction group were lower than those of the control group, and the LVEDD,LVESD,E/Em and Tei indexes of the myocardial infarction group were higher than those of the control group, with significant difference in uniformity(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in LVEDD,LVESD and LVEF of the patients in the myocardial infarction group one day after surgery compared with that before surgery(P > 0.05).LVEDD and LVESD decreased 1 month and 3months after surgery compared with that before and 1 day after surgery(P <0.05),LVEF was higher than that before and 1 day after surgery(P < 0.05),There was no significant difference in E/A values between the patients in the myocardial infarction group after surgery and before surgery(P > 0.05).The E/Em values were lower 1 day after surgery,1 month after surgery and 3 months after surgery than those before surgery(P< 0.05).The Tei index of patients in the myocardial infarction group was lower than that before surgery(P < 0.05),and the change trend continued 1 month and 3months after surgery. Conclusion: The cardiac function of patients with acute myocardial infarction is impaired to varying degrees,After PCI treatment, the overall cardiac function of patients with myocardial infarction has been significantly improved,The improvement of diastolic function was obvious after PCI,Left ventricular systolic function did not improve significantly in the short term.E/Em ratio reflects the changes of left ventricular diastolic function in the early postoperative period,Tei index can well reflect the overall function of the heart. The E/Em and Tei indexes were more accurate and reproducible than the traditional ultrasound indexes,It can effectively evaluate the changes of left ventricular function in patients with acute myocardial infarction after PCI.
