Objective: This study use PAR index(Peer Assessment Rating index)analysis to compare treatment to patients in malocclusion by the Angle's classification bettween professional master graduate students in orthodontics recruited in recent years and young orthodontists of Yijishan hospital, the first affiliated hospital of Wannan medical college,To explore professional graduate master students' level of clinical diagnosis and treatment to malocclusion under the existing cultivation model, and the gap between the young orthodontists in this hospital. Methods:From September 2016 to September 2018,60 non-extraction cases of malocclusion treated in the department of orthodontics of yijishan hospital, the first affiliated hospital of wannan medical college were randomly selected as clinical samples.Age: 14-20 years old, average age: 16.98±1.95 years old.30 cases of them treated by professional master graduate students in orthodontics(each 10 cases in Class?,Class ?and Class ?).Another 30 cases completed by young orthodontists(each 10 cases in Class ?,Class ?and Class ?).Into the standard selection of subjects,PAR total score value difference is not greater than 4 as a condition of compatibility, the grouping is as follows:group A1(Class ?malocclusion treated by professional master graduate students in orthodontics),group A2(Class ? malocclusion treated by professional master graduate students in orthodontics),group A3(Class ?malocclusion treated by professional master graduate students in orthodontics),group B1(Class?malocclusion treated by young orthodontists),group B2(Class?malocclusion treated by young orthodontists),group B3(Class ? malocclusion treated by young orthodontists). All of the samples were treated with MBT.A vernier caliper(Shanghai measuring tool and cutting tool factory, accuracy 0.01mm),a ruler(Shanghai yingxiong drawing instrument company)and a compass(Shanghai yingxiong drawing instrument company)were used to measure the PAR index of the plaster model before and after treatment. The measurement indexes include tooth dislocation, buccal occlusal relation, occlusal overjet, occlusal overbite and median line, and their weights are 1,1,6,2,4,respectively.Each index should be multiplied by the corresponding weight, and the weighted total score is calculated.SPSS17.0 software was used to conduct statistical analysis of the measurement results of each group. The paired t-test was conducted for A1,A2,A3,B1,B2 and B3 group before and after treatment, and independent t-test was used to analyze whether there were differences in the changes between groups A1-B1,A2-B2 and A3-B3.P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant, while P < 0.01 was considered notable statistically significant. Results: After treatment, each index and total score of PAR index in A1,A2,A3,B1,B2 and B3 groups were significantly reduced, the total score decreases 26.50±4.65?28.10±5.90 ? 26.80±4.85 ? 28.50±1.86 ? 29.70±3.86 ? 31.00±3.33 respectively, with notable statistically significant changes(P < 0.01).A1 and B1,A2 and B2,PAR index of each index and total amount of change before and after the treatment, the change rate difference between the two groups has no statistical significance(P > 0.05),A3 compared with B3,PAR index of each index and the total score change rate difference before and after treatment was no statistically significant difference(P > 0.05),in addition to the total PAR index points of each index before and after treatment the change difference has no statistical significance(P > 0.05),the change of total score difference before and after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The professional master graduate students in orthodontics recruited in recent years and young orthodontists of Yijishan hospital have achieved remarkable curative effects in non-extraction treatment to patients in malocclusion by different Angle's classification. The rate of improved cases in the graduate group was 16.67%,and the rate of greatly improved cases in the graduate group was 83.33%;the rate of improved cases in the young orthodontists group was 3.33%,and the rate of greatly improved cases in the young orthodontists was 96.67%.2.The professional master graduate students' group is less effective than the young orthodontists' group in terms of the effects of treatment to the cases of Angle Class?malocclusion.
