Objective:By dynamically measuring the platelet count(PLT)and the percentage of T lymphocyte subsets before and after treatment in patients with iron deficiency anemia(IDA),the changes of the above two indicators in the treatment of IDA patients before and after treatment and the guiding role of clinical work were discussed. Methods:Peripheral venous blood samples from 210 patients with iron deficiency anemia were diagnosed from December 2016 to December 2018 in Subei People’s Hospital of Jiangsu province.Platelet counts were measured by XN9000 blood cell analyzer.Flow cytometry was performed on 32 consecutive peripheral blood samples, and T lymphocyte subsets CD3+,CD3+CD4+,CD3+CD8+,CD4+/CD8+ were detected by flow cytometry. In the same period,40 patients with physical examination at the Health Checkup Center of Subei People’s Hospital of Jiangsu province were selected as the control group.210 patients with IDA were followed up for 5 months.Give the cause of active treatment,After supplementation with ferrous sulphate and vitamin C,platelet count,T lymphocyte subsets CD3+,CD3+CD4+,CD3+CD8+ were observed in patients with iron deficiency anemia. To evaluate the changes of the above two indicators of IDA patients before and after treatment and the guiding role of clinical work.Results:1.A total of 210 IDA patients were enrolled in the study,female:male=2.89:1,The median age 44(36-48)years;mild anemia 77 cases(36.67%),moderate anemia 98 cases(46.67%),severe anemia 35 cases(16.66%);126 cases(60%)with normal platelets, and 84 cases(40%)with elevated platelets(including 38.10%for mild anemia,52.38%for moderate anemia, and 9.52%for severe anemia).2.The mean platelet count of patients with IDA in this study was higher than that of healthy adults(p<0.01).Further analysis of the relationship between IDA anemia and thrombocythemia:①The platelet count of IDA patients with mild to moderate anemia was significantly higher than that of healthy controls(p<0.01);②There was no significant difference in platelet counts between patients with severe anemia and healthy controls(p>0.05).3.The PLT increased group in patients with IDA was significantly lower than before treatment(p<0.01).Further analysis of platelet elevation group in patients with IDA:①The PLT count of IDA patients with mild to moderate anemia with elevated PLT decreased significantly after treatment compared with that before treatment and was close to normal(p<0.01);②However,there was no significant difference in PLT counts between patients with severe anemia and elevated PLT in the IDA group(p>0.05).4.Compared with the healthy control group, the CD3+,CD3+CD4+,and Th/Ts were decreased in the IDA patients before treatment, while the CD3 CD8 was increased(p<0.05).After dynamic follow-up of IDA patients,CD3+,CD3+CD4+,and Th/Ts in patients with IDA increased after treatment, which was close to normal, and CD3 CD8+ decreased, which was also close to normal(p<0.01).CD3+,CD3 CD4+,CD3 CD8+,and Th/Ts in patients with IDA were significantly different from those before treatment(p<0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in CD3+,CD3 CD4+,CD3 CD8 and Th/Ts between the control group and IDA patients after treatment(p>0.05).Conclusion:1.The data of this subject suggest that IDA patients with elevated PLT account for the proportion of mild to moderate anemia, while the proportion of severe anemia is less.2.ID A group with elevated PLT counts. In addition to the etiology treatment, iron supplementation,no special treatment such as thrombocytopenic drugs, blood cell apheresis, etc.platelet count returned to normal.3.The immune function of T lymphocytes in IDA patients is lower than that in healthy adults. In addition to the etiology, iron supplements are added, and no other special immunotherapy interventions are performed. The helper T cells and inhibitory T cells recover, close to normal.
