Objective: To study and compare the clinical efficacy of Qinghua Gui and Cinnamon in the treatment of insomnia(yin deficiency and fire-proof syndrome),and provide evidence for guiding clinical treatment.methods: Sixty-six patients who met the inclusion criteria were enrolled.The patients were all from the patients who were admitted to the Outpatient Center of the Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2018 to January 2019,who met the inclusion criteria(yin deficiency and fire-proof syndrome)..The patients were randomly divided into two groups,33 in the control group and 33 in the treatment group.The control group was given a self-made Anshen prescription combined with cinnamon treatment,and the treatment group was given a self-made Anshen prescription combined with Qinghuagui treatment.Both groups were treated for 4 weeks.After the end of treatment,the results of the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and TCM syndrome scores before and after treatment were observed,compared and analyzed.Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS 17.0 software to evaluate its effectiveness.Results: 1.General data: There were no statistically significant differences(P>0.05)between the two groups in terms of gender,mean age,and mean disease duration before the trial.2.There were statistical differences in clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome scores,and PSQI scores(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group.Conclusion: When treating phlegm(yin deficiency and fire-proof syndrome),Qinghua Gui is better than cinnamon in the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and TCM syndrome scores.It is worth applying to the clinic.
