Evaluation Of Chinese Version Of CFS-CM Scale Based On Classical Test Theory And Item Response Theory

ObjectiveThe introduction of the English version of Caring Factor Survey-Caring of Manager(CFS-CM)for Chineseization,combined with Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory to evaluate its applicability in the nurse group,in order to provide standardized measurement tools for nursing managers.MethodsUsing quantitative research methods,to translate the Caring Factor Survey-Caring of Manager into Chinese.A cross-sectional study was conducted to investigate 1168 nurses in a tertiary hospital in Beijing.Combining Classical Test Theory and Item Response Theory,the measurement characteristics of the scale were evaluated.The Classical Test Theory was performed using SPSS 17.0 and AMOS 20.0 statistical software.The reliability of the scale was tested by internal consistency Cronbach's ? coefficient and test-retest reliability;the content validity index was measured by content validity index;the exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were used to determine the construct validity.The Item Response Theory was carried out using Winsteps3.72.3 software and RUMM2020 statistical software.The individual behavior authenticity test,unidimensionality test,local independence test and item characteristic curve form test and speed test are used to check the degree of fitting of the model.The reliability and validity of the scale are tested by means of category analysis,item analysis,difficulty analysis,Wright Map analysis and other analysis.ResultsThe Cronbach's ? coefficient of the Chinese version of CFS-CM is 0.961,the test-retest reliability is 0.922;the Item-Content Validity Index is 0.830-1.000,and the Scale-Content Validity Index of the scale is 0.983.The cumulative variance contribution rate of one common factor extracted by exploratory factor analysis was 70.389%;the fitting index of confirmatory factor analysis were: ?2/df=5.748,GFI=0.920,AGFI=0.874,RMSEA=0.096,NFI =0.964,CFI=0.970,IFI=0.970,TLI=0.961.They are all within the acceptable range,and the adaptation is better.All 10 items satisfy the unidimensionality,and all the option fitting index of Outfit MNSQ are less than 2.Except for the categories 3,the distance between the other category is between 1~5logits.The item fitting index Infit MNSQ is between 0.76 and 1.18,and the Outfit MNSQ is between 0.74 and 1.30.The fitting index of the item is in the normal range,and the difficulty coefficient is-0.24-0.28.The item separation index was 6.34,the item reliability was 0.98,the subject separation index was 4.56,and the test reliability was 0.95,which had a high reliability.The Wright Map analysis shows that the ability and the difficulty are normally distributed,and the items fit well,indicating that the scale have high validity.ConclusionsClassical Test Theory and Item Response Theory provide comprehensive and objective information for the analysis of CFS-CM.The Chinese version of the CFS–CM scale has good validity and reliability.The scale has a good application prospect,which can measure the nurse's perception of the nursing managers,and can be used as a tool to evaluate the nursing managers' care of the nurses in China.
