Part I Study of Chinese version transcultural self-efficacy tool was revised based on the theory of the RaschObjective: English version of transcultural self-efficacy tool was revised and test in combined with the classical measurement theory and item response theory. Methods: Questionnaire revision process chose 300 registered nurses, the revision in combined with the classical measurement theory and item response theory. The alpha coefficient of classical measurement theory were used in the reliability of the questionnaire, Item response theory was used in the measuring accuracy of questionnaire, likert scale level options.SPSS20, the classical measurement theory, Unidimensional inspection, monotone increasing, minimum speed test and the type of inspection, parameter invariance, parameter estimation and the Winsteps 3.7 software is analyzed data management. Results: Two project feature differences of subject were removed in the revised scale, the levels of scale was from 10 to 5 level. The revised cognitive subscales likert scale level 5 alpha coefficient is 0.969, that shows that cognitive subscales has higher reliability. Person Reliability is0.96, which indicates that the cognitive scale of 25 questions can be surveyed nurses is divided into three to four group of self-efficacy level were significant differences. The practice of the revised subscales likert 5scale alpha coefficient is 0.979, the Person Reliability coefficient is 0.95,Said the subjects were divided into three or four significant differences of level set, Composite reliability statistics, two subscales suggests that practice has higher reliability. The revised emotional subscales likert scale level 5 alpha coefficient is 0.971, the Person Reliability coefficient is 0.99,Said the subjects were divided into three or four significant differences of level set, Comprehensive two reliability statistics, show that subscales has higher reliability. From the perspective of the distribution of Wright Map on the topic, does not appear extremely difficult subject, subject and fitting is good, that title has high validity. Conclusion: To measure the most accurate interval is similar to the subjects ability distribution range for three subscales revised, To ensure that the subjects can realize accurately measurement for most nurses.Part Ⅱ Research for nurse transcultural self-efficacy status and influencing factors in tertiary general hospital in Guizhou provinceObjective: Assess to nurse transcultural self-efficacy of the status and explore the demographic variables like gender, age, nationality, title to the nurse transcultural self-efficacy of tertiary general hospital in guizhou province, ethnic minority areas, in China. Methods: Chinese version of transcultural self-efficacy scale translated from English version of transcultural self-efficacy scale. Three general hospitals of 1190 nurses were surveyed. SEL analysis was frequency statistics-based. T-tests and F-tests were used for the SEST analysis. The aims of these tests were to examine whether there were significant differences in the means among the tested groups according to demographic variables. P < 0.05 and P < 0.01 were considered Statistically significant. Results: The data showed that nurses with moderate SEL were dominant in the cognitive(88.7%), practical(90.8%), and affective subscales(91.6%),respectively. An average of 10% of the nurses had high SEL(cognitive:11.1%; practical: 8.9%; affective: 8.2%). Nurses with low SEL were rare.Less than 1% of nurses had low SEL on average(cognitive: 0.3%; practical:0.3%; affective: 0.2%). Different gender, educational background, ethnic background nurses in three subscales of self-efficacy strength score were not significant differences, And different age, marriage, employment, professional qualification, monthly income, working unit, whether as a head nurse of the intensity of self-efficacy scores were significant differences. Conclusion: After comprehensive analysis found that the stability of the working environment, stable marriage, a good education background and high level of professional titles, as a head nurse nurse transcultural self-efficacy is higher. It is useful that improving hospital nursing management construction transcultural self-efficacy and improving the ability of transcultural nursing continuing education system..Part Ⅲ Research for nurse transcultural self-efficacy status and influencing factors in tertiary general hospital in GuangzhouObjective: Assess to nurse transcultural self-efficacy of the status and explore the demographic variables like gender, age, nationality, title to the nurse transcultural self-efficacy of tertiary general hospital in Guangzhou city. Methods: Chinese version of transcultural self-efficacy scale translated from English version of transcultural self-efficacy scale. three general hospitals of 1156 nurses were surveyed. SEL analysis was frequency statistics-based. T-tests and F-tests were used for the SEST analysis. The aims of these tests were to examine whether there were significant differences in the means among the tested groups according to demographic variables. P < 0.05 and P < 0.01 were considered Statistically significant. Results: The data showed that nurses with moderate SEL were dominant in the cognitive(87.9%), practical(87%), and affective subscales(89.2%),respectively. An average of 11.7% of the nurses had high SEL(cognitive:11.9%; practical: 12.6%; affective: 10.7%). Nurses with low SEL were rare.An average of 0.2% of nurses had low SEL(cognitive: 0.2%; practical:0.3%; affective: 0.1%). Different hospitals, gender, marital status, educational background, intensity of department nurses’ self-efficacy scores did not differ significantly. The different age, ethnic background, working years, job title, the form of employment, income, whether as a head nurse nurse intensity of self-efficacy scores were significant differences. Conclusion: The nurse’s self-efficacy are medium level generally, high level and low level is few. Age, ethnic background, the longer the working years, job title, the higher, formal employment, the higher the income, and served as the head nurse nurse transcultural self-efficacy is higher. It is useful that improving hospital nursing management construction transcultural self-efficacy and improving the ability of transcultural nursing continuing education system.Part Ⅳ Research for structure of nurse transcultural self-efficacy based on the grounded theoryObjective: Research for transcultural self-efficacy structure characteristic by the method of grounded theory, To validate the quantitative research. Methods: Study using semi-structured in-depth interviews, in the form of theory by purposive sampling and sampling method, the data collection saturation has a total of 16 nurses to participate in the interviews.Collecting data in combination with in-depth interviews, participatory observation, field record, recording, memos and other methods, Data analysis to open login, associated logging, core logging level 3 coding. At the same time in the data analysis for constantly compare methods of combining with the analysis of the memory. Results: It is concluded that the code were 92, conceptual category were nine last. Finally, summed up the core of transcultural self-efficacy structure category that is eager to learn and three dimensions: lack of knowledge, and ability,as well as try. Conclusion: Before quantitive research results show that the nurse’s self-efficacy for medium level generally, high level and low level is few. From a certain extent reflects that it is need for nurse’s transcultural nursing training and education, to improve their self-efficacy and cultural competence, One of the study of the qualitative research method of grounded theory proposed core mode of nurse that is eager to learn. Conclusion is validation of supplement and improvement for quantitive research.
