Case-control Study On Nasal Septal Reconstruction Combined With Nervus Ethmoidalis Anterior Under Radiofrequency Ablation For Allergic Rhinitis Patients With Septal Deviation

Objective To observe the curative effects of nasal septal reconstruction combined with radiofrequency ablation in treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR)patients with septal deviation.Method Eighty one cases of moderate to severe AR patients with septal deviation were recruited and divided into control group(n=41)and observation group(n=40).Patients in control group were treated with nasal septal reconstruction,while patients in observation group received nasal septal reconstruction combined with nervus ethmoidalis anterior under radiofrequency ablation.The curative effects were assessed at three months?six months and one year after operatio.Result Three months later,the total effective rate of control group and observation group was 82.93% and 90.0%,while the result was 63.41% and 85.0% after six months,58.54% and 82.50% after a year.And the rate in observation group was significantly higher than that in control group after a year.(P<0.05).Conclusion Nasal septal reconstruction combined with nervus ethmoidalis anterior under radiofrequency ablation are proved to be an effective procedure in the treatment of AR with nasal septal deviation for longterm result.
