Therapeutic Effect Of Oral Mesalazine Combined With Dexamethasone And Callicarpa Nudiflora Granule Retention Enema In Active Ulcerative Colitis

Background Ulcerative colitis(UC)is an intestinal disease in which the cause of the disease and the pathogenesis are not clear.It has the characteristics of chronic course and recurrent episodes.It is common in patients with mild to moderate disease and often visits during the active period of the disease.Because the disease has a serious impact on the life of patients during the active period,it is a clinical treatment target to find a better treatment plan and achieve effective relief in a short time.At present,the main method for the disease is non-surgical treatment,among which aminosalicylic acid and hormonal drugs are most commonly used,and traditional Chinese medicine is often used as an auxiliary medicine.Studies have shown that the combination of oral medication and enema is better than single administration.The efficacy and adverse reactions of combined Chinese and Western medicine are better than monotherapy.Now,mesalazine has become the first-line treatment for ulcerative colitis,but the single drug has obvious limitations,and the therapeutic effect in the active phase is not good.Choosing the appropriate combination drug regimen and rational drug use is still the focus of current clinical attention.Objective To observe the efficacy of oral mesalazine combined with dexamethasone and callicarpa nudiflora granule retention enema in active ulcerative colitis.Methods The Department of Gastroenterology,Second Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University was collected from January 2016 to August 2018 for diagnosis of lower gastrointestinal symptoms,clinical symptoms,colonoscopy and histological diagnosis.Light-to-moderate activities were fully met.120 patients with ulcerative colitis.They were set as observation group(n=40),oral mesalazine,dexamethasone combined with callicarpa nudiflora granule enema;control group 1(n=40),oral mesalazine monotherapy;control group 2(n= 40),oral mesalazine combined with dexamethasone enema.The three groups of treatments were 2 weeks.After the treatment,the colonoscopy was reviewed.The mucosal manifestations under the colonoscopy were observed.The patients had abdominal pain,urgency,weight,frequency of bowel movements,stool blood and pus,changes in disease activity index(DAI),adverse reactions during medication,and recurrence of ulcerative colitis within6 months.Results The clinical manifestations of the patients in the observation group were significantly improved after treatment,and the improvement of symptoms was better than that of the control group 1 and the control group 2,P < 0.05.The clinical efficacy was evaluated.The total effective rate was 92.5% in the observation group,65.0% in the control group,and 72.5% in the control group 2(92.5% vs 65.0%,92.5% vs 72.5%,P<0.05).Statistical significance;the degree of inflammation in the mucosa of the observation group was significantly improved compared with the previous one,and the total effective rate was greater than that of the control group and the control group 2,the difference was statistically significant(90.0% vs 60.0%,90.0% vs 72.5%,P<0.05);Observed group disease activity index(DAI),partial remission rate was 29cases(72.5%)higher than control group 1(22 cases,55.0%)and control group 2(25cases,62.5%),completely The remission was 7(17.5%)higher than the control group1(2 cases,5.0%)and the control group 2(4 cases,10.0%).The difference between the above groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no serious drug-related adverse reactions in the three groups during the treatment period,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).The recurrence rate was 8.3% in the treatment group and 27.3% and 17.9% in the treatment group and the treatment group,respectively,and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion In the treatment of active patients with mild-to-moderate ulcerative colitis,mesalazine combined with dexamethasone and naked callicarpa nudiflora granules retention enema is the best treatment;this program can significantly improve clinical symptoms,Increase clinical efficacy,reduce intestinal inflammation,reduce the recurrence rate within six months,and have certain value in clinical applications.
