Clinical Study Of Compound Guanbaifu In The Treatment On Paroxysmal Atrial Fibrillation

Objective:Observe the clinical effect of compound Guanbaifu on paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with deficiency of both qi and Yin.At the same time,we evaluate its safety by observing the changes of blood routine,liver and kidney function before and after treatment.In the field of treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation,we make some beneficial explorationsMethod:In this study,40 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation of deficiency of both qi and Yin were randomly divided into control group and treatment group.Each group had 20 patients.The control group was treated with metoprolol sustained-release tablets,while compound Guanbaifu was added to the treatment group on the basis of the control group.The course of treatment was 2 months.We observed the changes of integral of single symptom in Traditional Chinese Medicine,total integral of TCM symptoms,electrocardiogram,left atrial diameter,blood routine,liver and kidney function before and after treatment in the two groups.By statistical analysis,we investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of compound Guanbaifu in the treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation with deficiency of both Qi and Yin.Results:Therapeutic effect of TCM syndromes:Compared with before treatment,the scores of single symptom of TCM in both groups were significantly reduced,with statistical difference(P<0.05).The treatment group was superior to the other group in the improvement of palpitation and fatigue symptoms(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in improvement of chest tightness and insomnia symptoms.The total score of TCM symptoms in the two groups decreased significantly after treatment compared with that before treatment,with statistical difference(P<0.05).There was a significant difference in total scores of medical symptoms between the two groups after treatment,and the treatment group was more effective(P<0.05).The total effective rate in treatment group and control group was 90%,65%respectively,with statistical difference(P<0.05).And the treatment group has more advantages in the effectiveness of traditional Chinese medicine.Effect of electrocardiogram:The duration of atrial fibrillation in both groups were less after treatment,and the treatment group was more effective(P<0.05).After treatment,the frequency of atrial fibrillation were less too.Comparing the two groups,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).The total effective rate was 85%in the treatment group,rather than the total effective rate was 75%in the control group.There was no statistical difference in the efficacy of ECG between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Left atrial diameter:In left atrial diameter,there was no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).At the same tima,there was no marked difference between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusions:Compound Guanbaifu on the basis of metoprolol sustained-release tablets can reduce the duration of atrial fibrillation in patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation of deficiency of both qi and Yin,effectively improve clinical symptoms.And the clinical safety is good.
