Objective1.To translate the English version of the Employees?Perceptions of Breastfeeding Support Questionnaire(EPBS-Q)into Chinese and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of EPBS-Q in professional women,Analyzing of questionnaire quality,Exploring its applicability in China.2.To Explore the status of professional women's breastfeeding in the workplace and factors affecting the duration of breastfeeding.3.To Explore the current status of breastfeeding support in professional women's workplaces and its influencing factors,and the framework of breastfeeding support strategy for professional women was initially constructed.Methods1.According to the Brislin translation model,To translate the English version of the EPBS-Q into Chinese,And to do the cross-cultural adaptation and revision,The questionnaire of test version was formed,A total of 364 postpartum working women were evaluated.Project analysis and screening based on classical measurement theory,Internal consistency reliability?composite reliability?content validity?convergent validity?discriminant validity and confirmatory factor analysis were used to test the reliability and validity of the questionnaire.2.Adopted a cross-sectional survey,The General information questionnaire?Chinese version of EPBS-Q?IIFAS and the Breastfeeding family support question-naire were used with 217 Postpartum professional women returning to work by convenient sampling method.The contingency coefficient method was used to analyze the association between the nature of different occupations and units and the employees?perceptions of breastfeeding support.Kaplan-Meier model was used to analyze the potential influencing factors of actual breastfeeding duration,Cox proportional risk model was used for multivariate analysis,to explore the factors that affect the actual duration of breastfeeding.Qualitative data on workplace breastfeeding support were analyzed by content analysis,Based on the literature analysis,combined with the research results of the influencing factors of the current situation,Preliminary Construction of Breastfeeding support Strategy Framework for Professional Women.Results1.The Chinese version of EPBS-Q includes 29 items,five subscales.The five subscales include:Organization Support(5 items)?Manager Support(9 items)?Co-worker Support(4 items)?Time(3 items)?Physical Environment(8 items and 6additional options)and an open question.The total Cronbach's alpha coefficient is0.924,Cronbach's alpha coefficient of former 4 subscales was 0.798~0.920,The physical environment is divided into three questionnaires,the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the three items in the physical environment subscale is 0.634,and the Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the five items is 0.994.S-CVI/AVE was 0.99,I-CVI ranged from 0.83 to 1.00.Confirmatory factor analysis showed that each item had a good factor load on the dimension,All the fitting indexes of the five dimensional structure model,?~2/df=2.471,RMR=0.036,RMSEA=0.064,GFI=0.872,AGFI=0.840,TLI=0.956,IFI=0.962,CFI=0.961,NFI=0.937,PGFI=0.700 were within the acceptable range.The value of AVE were 0.553~0.976 and the value of composite reliability were 0.824~0.995.The values of average variance extracted(AVE)were relatively high for all the five dimensions,the square roots of the five dimensionsAVE were greater than the correlation coefficient between each dimension.2.The 6-month exclusive breastfeeding rate of 217 women who returned to work after childbirth was 59.45%,There were 117 weaned cases,the average duration of breastfeeding was 13.65 months and the median was 13.00 months.88.02%of professional women decided to continue breastfeeding after returning to work.The score of the Chinese version of EPBS-Q was(54.54±17.12).Association analysis showed that co-workers support was associated with occupational type(r=0.201,P=0.010)and unit nature(r=0.190,P=0.017),time support(r=0.190,P=0.017)and physical environment(r=0.164,P=0.050)were associated with unit nature.IIFAS was(66.97±7.97)?breastfeeding family support questionnaire equal score was(3.06±0.53).Whether to insist on exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months,the expected duration of breastfeeding were two independent influencing factors for the duration of breastfeeding of professional women.3.The analysis of the data obtained from the open questions gived five themes:(1)Physical Environment Support;(2)Time Support;(3)Organization Support;(4)Manager/Co-worker Support;(5)Professional breastfeeding support.The preliminary framework of breastfeeding support strategy for professional women mainly included three systematic levels:professional female individuals,families/groups and workplaces.Conclusions1.The Chinese version of EPBS-Q has good reliability and validity,It can be used to assess the level of the employees?perceptions of breastfeeding support among professional female employees in China.The employees?perceptions of breastfeeding support was lower in professional women.The employees?perceptions of breastfeeding support was associated with occupational type and unit nature.Infant feeding attitudes and breastfeeding family support for professional women were need to be improved,Breastfeeding support in the workplace need to be further improved.2.Professional women who insisted on exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months?expected breastfeeding time is longer,the longer the duration of breastfeeding.Effective measures should be taken to help professional women reach exclusive breastfeeding level for 6 months,firm confidence in continued breastfeeding,develop a scientific breastfeeding plan.Breastfeeding support for professional women in the workplace have been unsatisfied demand,lack of corresponding facilities conditions,workplace breastfeeding support need multilateral coordination and cooperation.Health professionals?managers of work units,and policy makers can rely on the preliminary framework of breastfeeding support strategy for professional women,Focus on the three system levels of professional women,families/groups and workplaces,to develop corresponding interventions,Improve breastfeeding support for professional women,thereby effectively raising the level of breastfeeding.
