ObjectiveUsing head and face massage combined with auricular acupuncture and insomnia cognitive behavior therapy for chronic insomnia with anxiety,compare the improvement of sleep and anxiety status between the two therapies,and clarify the effect of head and face massage combined with auricular acupuncture on insomnia with anxiety.And to explore the theoretical basis and mechanism of the treatment of insomnia with anxiety,explore a practical,simple and easy to implement,small side effects,practical treatment methods,and provide an objective basis for its clinical promotion.MethodsThe patients with chronic insomnia who were admitted to the Massage/Rehabilitation Medicine Department of the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hubei Province from January 20 to 2019 were enrolled.The insomnia was in accordance with the Diagnostic Efficacy Standards for TCM Syndrome and the International Classification of Sleep Disorders.The anxiety is in line with the "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Common Diseases in Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Diagnostic Criteria for Classification and Diagnostic Criteria of Chinese Mental Disorders(CCMD-3).In this study,70 patients with chronic insomnia and anxiety who met the diagnostic criteria and inclusion criteria were randomly divided into a treatment group(35 cases)and a control group(35 cases).The treatment group was treated with head and face massage combined with auricular acupuncture.One treatment per day,5 times a week,rest on weekends;the treatment group was treated with insomnia cognitive behavioral therapy,through centralized training,follow-up supervision and guidance treatment,7 times a week;two groups of patients treated for 2 weeks.The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)and Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)scores were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results1.Analysis of basic information of included cases: The study included 70 patients,including 38 male patients,accounting for 54.29%,and 32 female patients,accounting for 45.71%.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in age,duration of disease,average number of days off,degree of education,and occupational factors between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that the above factors reached a balance between the two groups,and the results were affected by the above factors.Small and comparable.2.Before treatment,the two groups of patients were scored by PSQI scale and HAMA scale.The results showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups in the scores of the two scales(P>0.05),suggesting that the two groups of patients before treatment.Insomnia and anxiety are basically the same and comparable.3.After the treatment and follow-up statistics show:(1)PSQI scores showed that the scores of the two groups were significantly improved compared with the pre-treatment scores(P<0.05),indicating that both treatments can alleviate the symptoms of insomnia;after treatment,the total score of PSQI and sleep quality in the treatment group,The scores of sleepy time,sleep time,sleep efficiency,sleep disturbance,and daytime dysfunction were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in hypnotic drug score between the two groups(P>0.05).After follow-up,two The total score of PSQI scores in the patients was significantly different from that before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating that both treatments have certain long-term effects.(2)HAMA score showed that after treatment,the scores of the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),indicating that the two treatment methods were helpful for the improvement of anxiety of patients;the scores after follow-up showed that the two groups There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that the two groups had comparable long-term effects in the treatment of insomnia and anxiety,but from the absolute value of the data,the control group was slightly better than the treatment group.ConclusionHead and face massage combined with ear acupuncture has good curative effect on chronic insomnia with anxiety,can effectively alleviate insomnia,reduce anxiety,have certain long-term effects,and is easy to operate and easy for patients to accept.
