Construction Of Training Program Of Master Of Nursing Informatics Specialist

Objective1.To introduce the self-Assessment of Nursing Informatics Competency Scale(nursing graduate-level version).2.Understand the current status of nursing informatics competencies of nursing graduate-level students,clinical nurses,and the training needs of medical institutions for Master of nursing informatics specialist.3.Based on the needs of real education,build and revise the postgraduate training program for master’s degree in nursing informatics.MethodsThis study was divided into three parts:The first part was tools’development:The researcher first obtained the authorized use of the original English scale author Professor Yoon,and then formed the Chinese version of SANICS in strict accordance with the scale Chinese process,namely translation and back translation,cultural adjustment,semantic analysis and revision.It was convenient to select 324postgraduate students in nursing who met the inclusion criteria,and to verify the local applicability and psychometric characteristics of the Chinese version of SANICS by evaluating the internal consistency of the Chinese version of the scale.Exploratory factor analysis was used to test the structural validity of the scale and the content validity index to calculate the expert content validity of the Chinese version of the scale;then the results of the exploratory factor stage were verified by confirmatory factor analysis.The second part was the survey.(1)This part were status study.(1)Through the use of the"self-Assessment of Nursing Informatics Competency Scale"(Chinese version)as the survey tool,The convenience sampling method was used to extract 92 postgraduate nursing students from 6 higher nursing colleges in and outside the province.(2)By Luo Hong’s"Nursing Informatics Competencies Scale"(Clinical Nurse Version)investigated 334clinical nurses in the 3 top three general hospitals in Zhengzhou area conducted questionnaire surveys,respectively,and obtained the status of nursing informatics competencies of nursing masters and clinical nurses.(2)This part was a qualitative study.Objective sampling method was used to select 8 relevant subject experts,13 clinical nurses,and 12 nursing graduate-level students from intervention group,and semi-structured interview was used to obtain the interview data with seven step analysis of Colaizzi.The third part was the construction of training program of Master of nursing informatics specialist by Delphi expert consultation.Based on the previous literature analysis,current situation investigation and interview analysis results,this part determines the preliminary framework of training program of Master of nursing informatics specialist,and draws up the expert consultation form.After 2～3 rounds of Delphi expert consultation method,it is revised and improved.ResultsThe results of the first part:Experts had modified the statement of the six items,in which entries 11,12 and13 are combined into one entry,and the scale has been revised from the original 30entries to 28 entries.The evaluation of reliability and validity of the results:The Cronbach’sαof the Self-Assessment of Nursing Informatics Competency Scale0.931,Guttman Split-Half split half coefficient is 0.837.After two weeks of retesting,the test-retest reliability was 0.883,and the test-retest reliability of each dimension was greater than 0.6(P<0.05).The I-CVI of scale of Chinese version was 0.95.The results of principal component analysis and factor analysis and varimax rotation of the Self-Assessment of Nursing Informatics Competency Scale select 5 factors.The cumulative variance contribution rate is 70.659%.And the confirmatory factor analysis was used to further verify the five factor structures selected by the exploratory factor analysis,Chinese version of active ageing volume table of the seven factor model fit better,all the fit indices was up to standard,χ~2=444.226,χ~2/df=1.354,RMSEA=0.042,RMR=0.031,CFI=0.965.The results of the second part:Status survey:(1)The nursing informatics competencies of the master’s degree in nursing is divided into(2.89±0.57),which is below the medium level.Grades,internships or working hours,computer grades,whether you have studied nursing informatics related courses,and whether you have been exposed to nursing information systems are the main influencing factors(P<0.05).(2)The clinical nurses’nursing informatics competency is divided into(3.16±0.50)points,above the medium level.where the hospital,academic level,whether they have studied computer-related courses,and whether they have received nursing information system training or learning are affecting nurses(P<0.001).It can be seen that it is higher than the application ability of the master’s degree in nursing,especially in the clinical.Interview analysis:According to the cognitive analysis of the postgraduate training of master’s degree in nursing informatics,two major themes and six sub-themes are extracted:the qualifications and competencies for master’s degree in nursing informatics(can solve clinical practical problems,have clinical nursing work experience,Training requirements for multidisciplinary knowledge and skills),The conditions for master’s degree in nursing informatics(sufficient practice time,diversified practice departments,comprehensive evaluation methods).The results of the third part:After the preliminary construction of the training program framework,after two rounds of Delphi expert consultation method,the final construction of the training program has a total of 81 items.It mainly includes the training objectives,entrance requirements,curriculum and credits,nursing practice arrangements,evaluation methods and thesis.The training objectives include three categories of occupational literacy and attitudes,knowledge goals and ability goals.There are 6 items for each of the three generic goals.The entry requirements include 6 items.The curriculum includes public compulsory courses for nursing graduate students and public electives.Courses,professional compulsory courses,professional elective courses and compulsory modules,a total of 26;nursing practice plan a total of 2 stages,nursing practice and nursing informatics practice,need to rotate 2 years,a total of 12 items;evaluation method 9 items;degree The paper contains 10 entries.ConclusionThis study constructed a training needs of Master of nursing informatics specialist,including training objectives,entry requirements,curriculum,practical arrangements,evaluation methods and dissertations.The program draws on the relatively successful programs of foreign nursing informatics,combines China’s national conditions and the development status of nursing disciplines,focuses on social needs,highlights the characteristics of nursing informatics,and has strong applicability and reliability.It provides a scientific basis for the education of postgraduate students majoring in nursing informatics in various colleges and universities,and provides a new educational approach for accelerating the pace of training talents.However,it needs to be further revised and improved in the process of implementing the training program.
