Objective:To understand the status of mindfulness, perception stress and sense of life in patients with colorectal cancer after surgery; To analyze the factors affecting the mindfulness, perception stress and sense of life in patients with colorectal cancer; To explore the correlation among mindfulness, perception stress and sense of meaning of life in postoperative patients with colorectal cancer; To identify the influencing factors that can predict the sense of life significance in patients with colorectal cancer after operation, aim to provide a theoretical basis for clinical nursing workers to improve the meaning of life, mindfulness and reduce perception stress in postoperative patients with colorectal cancer. Methods:Conveniently select 251 postoperative patients with colorectal cancer in four tertiary general hospitals in Jilin Province to conduct a questionnaire survey, and use SPSS 17.0 software to statistically analyze the collected effective data.Results:(1)The total score of mindfulness of the study subjects was(47.29±7.28)points,which was at a medium level.Mindfulness was statistically significant in terms of educational level, family per capita income, payment method of medical expenses, family relationship, and postoperative intestinal stoma(P<0.05).(2)The subject’s total perception stress score was(40.57±3.92)points,which was at a medium level. In each dimension, the tension score was(23.23±3.96)points and the loss of control score was(17.33±3.05)points.There were significant differences in perception stress between marital status, family per capita income, family relationship, and postoperative intestinal stoma(P<0.05).(3)The total score of life sense of the study subjects was(38.62±6.05)points,and the average score was(4.29±0.67)points,which was at a medium level. The average score of each dimension is that the score of life sense is(4.31±0.75)points,and the score of seeking sense is(4.27±0.71)points.The sense of meaning of life is statistically significant in terms of age, education level, family per capita income, family relationship, time to diagnose disease, and postoperative intestinal stoma.(P<0.05).(4)The mindfulness of the subjects was positively correlated with the sense of meaning in life(r=0.508,P<0.01).Perception stress was negatively correlated with the sense of meaning in life(r=-0.428,P<0.01).Mindfulness was negatively correlated with perception stress(r=-0.500,P<0.01).(5)Multivariate stepwise regression analysis showed that factors such as mindfulness, perception stress, age, time to know the diagnosis of disease and educational level were the influencing factors of sense of life significance, explaining 34.7%variation of sense of life significance.Conclusions:(1)Mindfulness,perception stress and sense of meaning in life of patients with colorectal cancer after operation are at a moderate level. It is necessary to further improve the level of mindfulness and sense of meaning in life of patients and reduce the level of perception stress of patients.(2)There is a correlation between mindfulness, perception stress and sense of life in patients with colorectal cancer. In the clinical nursing work,we should pay attention to the patient’s mental health problems, develop corresponding nursing measures, improve the patient’s mindfulness level, reduce the level of stress perception, and thus enhance the patient’s sense of life.(3)Among the influencing factors of life sense of patients with colorectal cancer, the influence of mindfulness is the greatest, and improving the level of mindfulness of patients helps to improve their sense of meaning in life.
