| Objective: This study provides a good curative effect,low risk and better compliance treatment plan for the treatment of post-herpetic neuralgia by studying the efficacy and safety of ultrasound-guided nerve block combined with Ozone autohemotherapy treatment in the therapy of postherpetic neuralgia Methods: A total of 120 patients with PHN were enrolled.Finally,98 patients with PHN were enrolled in the study according to inclusion and exclusion criteria.They were randomly divided into ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug therapy group(P group)and ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug plus Ozone autohemotherapy treatment group(group O).Ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug treatment group(P group)received drug treatment for 2 weeks and after 3 days of drug treatment,Ultrasound-guided nerve block was given(2% lidocaine 5ml + 0.9% saline 15 ml + Dexamethasone 5mg + Vitamin B12 Injection 1ml).ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug plus Ozone autohemotherapy treatment group(group O),Ozone autohemotherapy treatment was given for 2 weeks on the basis of the previous group.The visual analogue scale(VAS),initial value reduction of 50% VAS,McGill pain questionnaire(MPQ),patient global change impression scale(PGIC)and the World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale(WHOQOL-BREF)were used to evaluate treatment outcomes.All data were statistically analyzed before treatment,1 week after treatment,1 month after treatment,and 3 months after treatment.Each piece of data were analyzed using SPSS 19 and GropPad 5.Data are expressed as mean ± standard deviation or n(%).The continuous data was analyzed by independent sample t test,and the classified data was analyzed by chi-square test.The data of the two groups before and after treatment were compared and analyzed by analysis of variance(ANOVA).P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.P >0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.Results: 49 patients were enrolled in the ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug therapy group(P group)and 49 patients were enrolled in ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug plus Ozone autohemotherapy treatment group(group O).4 patients with PHN were lost to follow-up in group P.1 patient was lost to follow-up 1 week after treatment,2 patients were lost to follow-up 1 month after treatment,and 1 patient was lost after 3 months of treatment.3 patients with PHN were lost to follow-up In group O,1 patient was lost in 1 month after treatment,and 2 patients were lost to follow-up 3 months after treatment.Therefore,45 patients in the P group and 46 patients in the O group.There were no statistically significant differences of the two groups of the general conditions(age,sex,weight,herpes zoster,duration of PHN,underlying disease,nutritional status)before treatment(P>0.05).There were no statistically significant differences in VAS,MPQ,PGIC,and WHOQOL-BREF scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).The VAS,MPQ,PGIC,and WHOQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were significantly improved after 1 week treatment compared with those before treatment(P<0.05).However,the differences of VAS,MPQ,and WHOQOL-BREF scores between the two groups were no statistical significance(P>0.05).The results showed that the VAS,MPQ,and WHOQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were significantly improved after 1 week treatment compared with those before treatment,but there was no significant difference in the improvement degree.The short-term effects of both groups were obvious.The VAS,MPQ,PGIC and WHOQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were significantly improved after 1 month treatment compared with those before treatment and 1 week after treatment(P<0.05);moreover,The differences of VAS,MPQ,PGIC and WHOQOL-BREF score were statistically significant between the two groups.(P<0.05).The results showed that the VAS,MPQ,PGIC,and WHOQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were significantly improved after 1 month treatment compared with the previous ones,and the improvement degree was significantly different.The effect of the group O was significantly improved compared with the group P.The VAS,MPQ,PGIC,and WHOQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were significantly improved after 3 month treatment compared with those before treatment,1 week after treatment and 1 month after treatment(P<0.05);moreover,The differences of VAS,MPQ,PGIC and WHOQOL-BREF score were statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05).The results showed that after 3 months of treatment,the VAS,MPQ,PGIC,and WHOQOL-BREF scores of the two groups were significantly improved after 3 month treatment compared with the previous ones,and the degree of improvement was significantly different.The effect of the groupO was significantly improved compared with the group P.There was a significant difference in the number of patients with a 50% reduction in the initial value of VAS score before and after treatment(P<0.05).After 1 month treatment,the difference of the number of patients with a 50% reduction in the initial value of VAS score compared with previous was statistically significant between the two groups(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the number of patients with a 50% reduction in the initial value of VAS scores after 3 month treatment between the two groups,(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in adverse reactions between the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion: ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug plus Ozone autohemotherapy treatment for PHN is superior to ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug therapy,the difference between the two groups is obvious especially after 1 months and 3 months of the treatment.Indicating the treatment of PHN Among the two methods,ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug plus Ozone autohemotherapy treatment has an advantage in long-term treatment.In the adverse reactions after treatment,there is no difference between the two methods,indicating that ultrasound-guided nerve block plus drug plus Ozone autohemotherapy is a relief,safe and effective method in the treatment of PHN. |
